=/ and here we go!This is hilarious, and I do kind of get an uncanny valley feeling from Joakim.
Looks real to me.
Where are his eyelashes? I hope that isn't another affliction.

ok, i know you're just kidding therecg is Srsbsnss
i love this thread tooUnnatural eye area skin protrusion
Seems like some of his left eyelashes are clipping through the bandage...in-engine CG!Where are his eyelashes? I hope that isn't another affliction.
I'd doubt it was realtime. Doesn't rule out CG, though. No I think he's real. Too many details. Perfect lighting. Even Hollywood hasn't reach this level with CG so in real-time with Fox Engine, it's highly doubtful.
You can even see the shadow of his eyelashes on his bandage to the right of his right eye.
so we've reached this point eh?
I noticed that on the right side, but look at the left.
And what will you do if it's cg? Send the thread to Kojima? =DI'm gathering all the replies of people being positive that dude is CG.
And when the day comes and they reveal who it was, I'll send all those replies to that guy just to see his reaction.
mite b cool

That Fox Engine, looks so real!
And what will you do if it's cg? Send the thread to Kojima? =D
twist: light comes from different sources omg!
I honestly can't tell well enough to make a call. (Edit: and if someone who works in CG land can give me some reasons why a mix between cg and real actor for the dev is impossible, I'd love to hear them.) What makes you so sure it's not, though? If it's true, props to Kojima. Really, if it turns out real... then he got me hard. Because I'm 100% sure it's not cg.
Here's the twist... it's Geoff Knightley that's been CGI all along and Joakim Mogren is real. All of those Doritos and Mountain Dew endorsements have been used to fund the existence of Geoff Knightley.
...He cuts his eyelashes, simple as that.
LOL, if this is CGI, I'll buy 10 PS4s at launch!
and sell 9 of them
I'm not talking about shadows, the left eye looks like it literally has no eyelashes.
His accent is Southern Norwegian, not Swedish. I have nothing to prove this.
I'm not really on board with the CG theory, but...
Didn't Cliffy B. mention that Kojima showed him something mindblowing some time ago? Maybe this recent tweet jokingly refers to a tech-demo:

He cuts his eyelashes, simple as that. No way in hell is this CG guys come on.
No fucking way. That has got to be a coincidence. That's too perfect.I'm not really on board with the CG theory, but...

He's kidding, silly. No one cuts their eyelashes. Why is there enough eyelash to project a shadow on the right side then?
I'd doubt it was realtime. Doesn't rule out CG, though.
Why is there enough eyelash to project a shadow on the right side then?
Ah okay, never mind then. No, Kojima showed him the Ground Zeroes demo we've already seen.
What if it was CGojima? The real one was in a networked motion capture booth controlling his digital clone? No, Kojima showed him the Ground Zeroes demo we've already seen.
Am I the only one who finds this whole thing bizarre?
Why is there enough eyelash to project a shadow on the right side then?
Oh my god, I can't believe people are so easily fooled.
Well I can't. I'm not a squint expert or currently on drugs.
Definitely real.
Am I the only one who finds this whole thing bizarre?
If it's CG its not real-time and was mo-capped till the end of times and they might as well just pre-record some actor. Actually I found the interview a bit ridiculous because no information was given and it was obviously just to put a face on the man. If it is indeed cg then he will probably be a character from the game (hence the bandages).
I know, right. How could anyone think that "Joakim" is... wait, what's the side that's being fooled?
