I don't think being able to skip is a week is such a bad thing TBH. You can login just for your gems, take the week off and do some other stuff.

I now have 3 evolved RR Ivankovs. One is fully socketed with bind/despair/orbs/heal.

I may socket the other two, each with bind/despair/heal and one of the stage hazards. I mean, he's a 2 turns damage reducer, healer, high combo rate for combo shields, excellent stats, poison remover... why the hell not?

He has enough for a multipull. 3 pulls doesn't guarantee you get a boosted unit. Either multipull or don't pull at all.

I'd recommend waiting for the next gold-only sugofest or 2nd anniversary a few months away... especially if he's only been logging on for gems and not actively playing.

What this upcoming sugofest is great for is for rerolling, since new accounts can get a multipull relatively easily.

Since Monster Chopper teams have low HP level 4-5 Auto heal sockets are quite useful to him. I personally went Heal / Bind with mine.

I don't really understand why half the information shown is there. I would rather have his CD and sockets shown. It would make finding a friend captain much easier.

Is there a site with details on which specific units were rate-boosted for each JP Sugofest? Couldn't find the information on Gamewith. I think I'm gonna start rating Sugofest batches for myself based on the units I don't have and their Gamewith scores.

Anything but despair, since he's a good beat stick for a BB team. Usually it's Bind/something else, either CDR or Slot Orbs. I went with slots on mine.

In other news I've started reading the One Piece manga where I left off with the anime. I'm in the middle of water 7 and I find it hard to get used to viz media's translation. It's all over the place. First of all I was quickly reminded how strange it is to see "Zolo" instead of Zoro. Also pretty sure one of Zoro's moves was not supposed to be translated to "three-sword style leopard spinning ... balls" umm what. I much preferred the fan translations that didn't bother to translate the actual move names.

From what I could google people are saying the viz translation gets way better further in, but nobody could give me a clue as to when.

Ah ok. You're probably right about waiting for either the gold only or second anniversary. Are there any upcoming units for global that have proved to be really useful on the jpn version? I remember some mention of a Trafalgar Law unit a while back that was supposed to be really OP.

Ah ok, I guess I will wait on that anniversary and hold out hope for Law then. He's my favorite character in the series, either that or Zoro anyway, so it would be real nice if I got lucky enough to grab him. I've got INTHawk and Whitebeard anyway so I'm not in desperate need of legend units, though I WOULD have loved Sengoku. That guy never wanted to drop for me.

I'm gonna guess new legend (likely Law) early December, and another new legend (Aokiji I guess?) early January. So two new legends before 2nd anniversary.

As long as we're predicting, I'm going to guess that they'll combine the 2nd Anniversary celebration with the Marineford events, since we should be getting Marineford 1 story mode around mid-Feb anyway. And then we'll probably get the Akainu raid way early because Global.

Also, just a couple notes on the Sugo tonight:

1. The 11th pull on multis is only an increased chance at one of the sugo-boosted characters, not a guarantee like some of the recent sugos. Worth keeping in mind if you specifically want someone. (That also means your 11th pull could be a silver)

2. Cavendish does not actually appear to be boosted, even though this is his debut sugo. So if you pull a red, it's a higher chance that it'll be Ace, Shanks, or an INT legend.

3. Since we've got an INT Up plus STR/DEX/QCK boosted characters, that means the only double-boosted character is Dagama. He's decent, at least.

Since the free pulls were nice enough to grant me a 3D2Y Robin, I don't need to pull as much here anymore. Gonna do two just for a shot at the new dudes.

Mathematically, it's accurate. We're probably talking like 0.3% versus 0.1%, but boosted is boosted. Legend rates are so low that it doesn't really matter, but if you super-wanted Cavendish for some reason, you'd have a better chance on a different sugo (but anyone pulling for a specific legend is gonna have to learn about disappointment).

It makes no sense to debut him with +50 and not rate boost him. I'm not upset but meh. Can't wait until Baccarat/Haruta makes their way to global as well as Rayleigh shop because the longer Dupe IntHawk stays in my box the more I want to go ahead and socket it differently.

Did a multipull on my alt and got SW Ace, lol. The multipull was otherwise silver-heavy, with Hawkins as the +1 (who I've somehow never pulled on my main despite playing since launch). Even with a legend in there, it just reaffirms my plan of only multipulling during all-gold sugos for my main.
