I destroyed the enemy team on Attack in Dorado as Junk. For some reason the random in our team instalocks him for Defense in the next round and keeps dying and does jackshit at stopping them at the first choke which is one of the easiest spots for Junk to protect. We end up losing.
The technical term refers to when you go back to playing overwatch again late at night when you already played earlier that night, typically 8pm est overwatch then 11pm Latewatch.

That feel when you've got a good comp in the select screen, but everyone is f tier at positioning/game awareness with no noticeable time played on that character.
This will happen if people try to flex but it's not heroes they normally play.

Depends on what characters other people are playing. She can be alright if there's a lot of genji's, mcree's and soldiers around

In seventeen hours of FFA Deathmatch "play" I can recall seeing a Zarya exactly once.

I got Sharpshooter as Bastion Tank Ult once, basically outsniped Widow and Pharah with tank rounds straight to the face.

I've had pretty decent success in duo/trio queue this season so far. Solo queue has definitely been hit or miss though. Stay in OW and duo queue with me, either it'll go great or misery loves company, etc etc.
Me yesterday too. Watchpoint Gibralter, me solo healing, no tanks around. They didn't even get the payload to the first point. So many dance emotes.
Saw this in Reddit. Is it missing anything?
Should put mercy one trick in tthe centre.

I'll definitely do it, but I'll only do it once (per map). Besides, after the first time they usually wait for an escort and that's a very different proposition.
Streak bonuses are effectively gone since I think it takes a lot of wins in rows for it to kick in now.

Two questions- Do console players find it impossible to get Play of the Game with Ana? I have near 70 hours with her and can count on one hand how many times I've got it and I've seen some fucking awful POTGs from other characters.
Anyone know what the next event is? Halloween?
edit: Just want to give some examples of the bad POTGs I've seen when I've done amazing things with Ana on console. I've seen POTGs with characters getting ONE kill and then the person will still die. One kill and then death isn't a good POTG. It makes me think that whatever algorithm they use to pick POTG is completely fucked.

I really wouldn't mind people who left competitive if it didn't fuck your skill rating. It still makes no sense from Blizzard. Their excuse is garbage and they should feel bad trying to convince people it's a good thing.

Yeah it's really hard from my experience. I only got it twice (3v3 and qp), the qp one was the lamest shit ever imaginable.
I think I only saw one good ana potg and it was from buttchin, I earth-shattered most of the enemy team, he threw a nade at them and hit a couple of shots and then sniped a pharah to finish it off. It was pretty cool.
He had a shitty highlight intro though... that's buttchin for you :\
Most likely, beginning of next month I guess.

I think it also applies to losses as well. I remember they took away the bonus for both sides so you don't drop like a rock and you don't rise too quickly.
Even on PC, I don't get many POTG as Ana. My last one was ult our Zarya as she Ulted alongside the other team's Zarya Ulting, Hitting the grenade on both sides and getting a full clip off.
But a shit load of POTG are thanks to me. Two of my last three games was ulting a player and supporting them the entire way through it.

Best season ever, I'm at 65% winrate after 18 games, last season was below 40% at this point.
It's mostly a matter of luck.
The randoms were nice for the most part, but when we play as a group we don't really complain if their pics are questionable unless the game is being extremely shitty (owzers picked doomfist last season so we are kinda used to it at this point).

That's disappointing to hear. I can't tell you how many time's I've boosted someone as Ana, they get a few kills and I'm still healing multiple people up from critical. Of course I don't get the POTG though. I wish Blizzard would fix this.

I'm starting to approach 50 games, still sitting on that sub-40% winrate and I've lost more games than I won today alone.
Whats changed? That's what I'm struggling to understand. How is this season so different that I just get kicked in the dick this hard?

Nah. I've had some idiots in my games, but just the fact that the game finally placed me in Platinum after I've had to work my way into it since season 2 makes this season better than most.
Plus with Junkertown and the DVa and Mercy changes incoming, the meta for this season should be pretty fun.
This is true. D.Va changes are a big positive for me. I'm tempted to just drop the game until they drop, but I don't want to stop practicing.
