Actually I would say the latest changes were an incredible buff because of the tighter shot grouping. But you are right that any sort of latency completely wrecks havoc with Hog, especially with the recent latency bullshit on PS4. I couldn't even kill a Mercy when the latency was ridiculous.

I am actually doing great in SoloQ. Won another game in Numbani where my team pushed the cart with 5 mins to spare compared to the another team's 1 min.
But I can only play one game before work. So maybe it will run out once I binge.

Solo queue QP is bullcrap. I just had a game where the team as usual got stuck behind Volkskaya's first point. There were like four DPS? And no tanks except for me and someone later switched to Ana. I switched to Pharah, carefully pushed the other team near the point with rocket spamming, and then I ran through them and captured two points. I do recall other games where we won with wacky team comps after being unsuccessful with proper picks; you just have to kill a couple of people and their team falls apart because there is no team in the first place (random positioning).
That is Quick play in a nutshell. People don't play seriously, and don't except to win if you fill in missing roles (i.e going with a tank or support); you have to assess the situation and see what kind of openings you can exploit with certain heroes. This playstyle and randomness of QP is what makes people go DPS in Competitive; they don't trust others to take that role. This is why I hate people who don't take quick play at least semi-seriously.
Because they want to see you headshot them with your right click. Watching Mei finish off a target with her right click is as satisfying as watching a pimple being popped.

I've been playing a few games of QP here and there as I finish up Horizon and I think I'll be doing my placement matches and be ready for comp after the new patch goes live. Every QP game I've had without Bastion has been great, and every game I've had with Bastion has been a nightmare. One healed through my Tracer ult. He HEALED THROUGH MY TRACER ULT. When you sticky bomb a Bastion they should die, dagnabbit.

guess its a more personal thing. i have a hard time to match my timing of my altfire and jump (my jump is L2 and altfire is L1) then move forward on controller than compare to do it on keyboard/mouse.
I still have Zarya jump as X :/

I'm at about 100 hours with Zarya on the PS4 and had no idea this was a thing. Any tips?
After three seasons of putting in work I finally broke 2240 SR and made it to 2482....then leaver after leaver brought me down. It hurts.

Haven't had a toxic game in awhile.. because been playing with PS4 GAF. Well, this happened last night.
I wish I got the whole match, didn't realize it would go over 15 min limit on PS4. I thought these guys were friends because the toxicity started right from the get-go, we didn't even get to choose our characters before Genji just said the other guy was throwing (the whole entire match). It was funny for about half a round, this guy sounded like a broken record. The bastion got disconnected after the first round and we managed to get one round off them 5v6 (the Genji was still complaining about the guy who wasn't there). He came back halfway thru second round and that's where the video start.
I think I played really well, I don't know why I haven't given PS4 GAF this kind of performance but I give these dumbasses one of my better games. Genji kept saying he had 4 golds (he didn't I had damage the entire time). Genji said this was his third smurf, his other 2 accounts are top 500.. would of fooled me with that sub-par ninja play.

crazy gameplay usually comes from desperation. I remember back in S1 or S2, a game in liang tower, we were up 2-0 but some1 in our team d/c.Never came back and the enemy team tie up to 2-2. For the remaining of the match, I pour my soul out as a genji. I manage to help the team secure a the point by killing like 3 or 4 guys on point with my bait/charging ult then finish with sword. In the end, 5v6 is still way to tough to carry. We still lost but I pull a crazy genji gameplay back then. It's stressful tho, so I don't really do that anymore.

I think I've seen that guy before. He literally is the most toxic person I've seen. He will actually send you personal recordings full of degenerate behavior if he deems you the reason why he lost lol.
He says he's top 500 on his main all the time but I've never seen his main.
Now that I'm playing with diamond players....diamond rank is trash. So many throwers. Also, I had a tougher time winning matches on plat than diamond. I'm thinking it may be because I was always hovering around the 2900s and people are probably playing it with their all, wanting to get to diamond, whereas in diamond people are already in the rank and even if they dip below 3000, they still get all the rewards and rank.
Also, I've been playing nervously while being in the 2900s whereas now I'm more focused. That is until I reach the 3400s.

I haven't solo-queued much at all on my main, I wanted to try solo-queue to diamond (which thankfully did in 2 nights), also matches were way better on my alt than my main, but I started getting invites to PS4 GAF queue
I can play with my main account (SR is pretty much the same) if it makes you feel better

You always keep your season high but you lose the rank emblem. I think people said they got matched back with mainly Diamonds.
I think it's 2000 comp points now for Masters.
