They're not aiming to entertain per se, they truly believe they have a good pool of heroes and compositions for anti-dive.

Oh yeah, very true. The side effect is that those anti-dive comps actually give some variety to the matches we've seen.

Like there was a cam of Tobi on the first day and and he just casually takes out tracer that was blinking to the side. His accuracy on that hero is so sick.
And in the Apex finals you don't get to see it from his POV but you can see off to the sides that he took care of a reaper (booped him off the edge) and then just fragged out a tracer all by himself.

It probably factors in to an extent, insofar as they've been playing dive forever and might want to mix it up for the sake of their personal enjoyment.
