There no xbox version because the one x is already 4k 60. No need for a remaster because of backwards compatibility. What's odd is that there is no Xbox version of this remaster. I think in this case the BC compatibility mode was not a good thing for Xbox players.
And the game looks super responsive on that video. Much better than what I remember from the PS3 version.
No it isn't.There no xbox version because the one x is already 4k 60. No need for a remaster because of backwards compatibility.

One X is 4k30, I wish it was 60. I doubt they'll update the Xbox version as then we won't be incentivized to buy the new release. I might pick up the PS5 release on sale down the road, but certainly not spending full price on it.There no xbox version because the one x is already 4k 60. I'm sure 60 could be patched in but Rockstar is greedy. It's 4k 30fps. Not 60 unfortunately.
Rockstar likes their double (or more likely triple) dippers. They'll release it on PC when the console sales get dry enough. I'm 90% sure the same thing will happen with GTA6.That's awesome. First time RDR can be played at 60fps. PC port imminent?
Finally! Crossing my fingers for the XSX version.

FPS boost for BC titles was handled by Microsoft alone. No developer is going back to patch an Xbox 360 build of a game. They would just release a new native Xbox Series version but because of BC they chose not to.I'm sure 60 could be patched in but Rockstar is greedy.

Patched in to the existing Xbox version I doubt it. The Xbox version runs code for an IBM processor that then gets emulated to x86. Rockstar would need to go and mess with that codebase and somehow make it work; doubt it would generate many sales in that ecosystem. If it could be ran at 60fps through the emulation layer, the BC team would have done it already.I'm sure 60 could be patched in but Rockstar is greedy.
What i thought i read as well, damn. I have this on the switch and ps3 never getting 60 there and that is ok, it runs fine. RDR2 though needs a 60 patch on ps5... I can play it on my pc though so, something rdr1 you cant.
Edit: I thought it was RDR2. Ok, not exciting for me but great for everyone else who is playing through it.
So why wouldn't this be on the Xbox?
