Did i choose the worst class with Warrior?
Attacks are soo slow and meanwhile you have to dodge every second and interrupt your attack... also not feeling tanky at all.
Feels like i'm playing isometric Dark Souls.
Might be enjoying the game more rerolling another class... but which? Any recommendations?
PS: my warrior is Lvl 12 now and im in the hunting grounds now

Giving away two keys. First come first serve:

MTSSR-36HNJ-CSSTA-FWSY7
Likely a PC code

MT9MD-R9NXF-59Z9Z-S99GS
Same should be a PC code

Enjoy! :)
Damn, now i'm regretting having bought the EA as i could have used your code instead.:messenger_neutral:
Anyways the inventory is a little bit too small for my taste, could be bigger. Even in Grim Dawn you get more inventory space as the game progresses.

I'm doing alright with my 16 war. I went all out on melee/damage passives.

Mob clear is pretty good, but requires setup: I usually open with earthquake, rolling slam into boneshatter or warcry before boneshatter. The amount of debuffed 'primed for stun' (indicated by glowy heads, which took me the longest time to figure out) before boneshatter makes all the difference.
For 1 on 1 on strong elites and bosses, I tend to spam main attack skill while holding block. As long as your block treshold is up, you can keep blocking and attacking, practically at the same time. Only dodge for the strong (AOE) attacks.

I'm *really* enjoying this. I was not sure at all about the changes to make it more souls-like, but what they've achieved is well-balanced. If you get blocked by a boss, it's possible to go off and farm more power to help you overcome it (so far at least!)

As a long-time poe enjoyer/degenerate, I died so much trying to blast through the content - I *had* to slow down to survive and then it clicked - it's a totally different beast to poe and I like it *more* because of that.

I also like that every single tiny gear item feels amazing as they're so scarce and you're not showered in crap all the time.

So far it's a huge accomplishment by GGG - but I'm playing slow so maybe the wheels fall of later.

I have finished hunting grounds on my warrior. I am going 2H and full into the stun* mechanic. Seems to work pretty well for me. Rolling slam is good for closing the distance to the ranged mobs and earthquake + boneshatter combo quite well to take down the packs.

Need to figure out when to use the armour breaking attack as I have not managed to fit that in yet but sure I will find a use for it once it clicks.

Compared to PoE 1 warrior requires good timing and if you get it down one move flows neatly into the next. When you miss time it though it is a lot trickier.

game is much more difficult than I expected, but feels fair

never played PoE, but was it this difficult? opening of this game is more difficult than later acts of Diablo 2 (not hating on D2, I love the game)

anyone here with slow internet connection playing the early access?
how does it feel? is there any lag or input delay or anything?

Slow internet doesn't matter. I used to play games on my phone hotspot in the basement in the middle of our county. In other words the connection was weak and the speeds as well. Connecting to a network to play Diablo or this uses like 200mb in 8 hours.

Ikr and im rolling through the game without any issues so far. I noticed PoE 1 players tend to complain about difficulty, because they dont move at 300% speed and have to use more than 1 button :D

Im just loving how awesome the combat feels in this game and im palying it like a twin stick shooter on my merc with a controller. Kiting, dodging etc, just feels amazing
Merc is so fun, freeze switch ammo to grenade switch ammo to piercing if armor then normal ammo

I still missing the 300 credits on my steam purchase. Probably a bug?
I'll quote myself because I'm in the same boat, might help.

Found my issue so it might apply to you. Looks like they merged my 2 accounts and my coins and purchases are stuck on my old account. Looks like its happened to quite a few people. You'll need to email support if you are in the same boat

Seems I picked the right class for an easier time with Sorceress. Have the weapon with 2 skellies and just doing the fire (circle variant) and electric sparkles through that to get through everything so far pretty easily. Upgrading everything where/when I can, not saving anything, just having fun in the here and now. Witch boss was toughest so far needing quite a few retries, but it got a lot easier again after that.

Couch co-op:
Played a good few hours with my son this afternoon. It's weird how it works, seems it has to be 2 characters on your own account rather than making use of 2 PSN accounts - or maybe we just fucked up. We got his controller registered to my pro, signed him in, but pressing to have P2 join made him create a new character in my account. Quest progress going back through from the start with him was iffy af. We had to keep quitting out and going back in solo or stuff like stabbing the runes or talking to the shop girl just wouldn't trigger/no prompts. If this is how it's meant to work then if I knew then what I do now I'd just have made 2 new characters to play through together with, not worth the frustration otherwise.

Yeah i know how to setup all the stun stuff and shatter combo etc., the problem is just that if there are many ranged mobs or in general alot of same level mobs, the setup takes too long for how squishy i feel.
On the reddit POE2 sub they seem to share the same experience, too long setup, too squishy.
Trying out the other classes now.

Just a question guys.
Do the Skill Gems level up by themselves? Or how does it work? Is there any source of information for PoE2 that does explain the mechanics, maybe a video?

weird, i had 0 points on old account, barely played poe 1. Where can i email them?
Same but my points went on my old account when they merged.

Login in here and you can see if that's the case for you. : https://www.pathofexile.com/logout

In the top left there will be an option to switch accounts ( if indeed you have one) The support links are in the same page but their email is : support@grindinggear.com.

I'm not expecting a response any time soon with how busy they must be rn.

No, they changed the skill gem system completely.
Now you need another uncut gem to level your skills up.

1H or 2H. I do feel a bit squishy but I don't have much life regeb and zero leech which I think would make a big difference.

Damage output wise it feels fine.

Yeah i cant even see my char on the website on latest account. I'll just wait its probably slow/busy. I have all 3 merged under 1 account with ps and steam linked to it so when i buy stash tabs on website it should apply to all 3.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
I just had a crash on that boss lol.

Game seems to crash a lot for me, like once every hour or so.

edit: and yeah this shit is kino. Holy damn.

I want to say that the final boss of act 1 is absolutely on the level of a fromsoft boss in just pure epicness.

The music, the things he says, the way the fight changes, etc.

Blows EVERY boss in every other ARPG in existence out of the water. Well fucking done.

I think i can say without hyperbole that the enemy and boss variety even in act 1 shits on almost every other game. Every modern AAA game reusing the same fucking enemies and bosses. I just played DA where i fought like 10 enemy types and 5 bosses throughout the whole 70+ hour game reused multiple times. This is a breath of fresh air and looks like every act has its own enemy types and bosses... insane

I have the worst case of indecision about what class to go with. I got a sorceress up to level 8 or so, then rolled a Ranger because poison sounds awesome and a Witch because minions are fun. Now I'm reading that Mercenary feels like a twin-stick shooter and THAT sounds awesome so I want to try that too. God knows when I'll make any real forward progress.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'd say it's more important to get to know what kind of playstyle you like first.

Same boat started with the witch but minions didn't really click for me, then went Merc and seemed fun but tried ranger and was way more fun for me, so now I'm thinking about going ranger as I didn't really like Merc ammo switching

This game is superb. How do you buy a guid stash and does it mean you can drop useful stuff in there and another guild member can pick it up free?

The enemy encounters are kind of cool, you have to think how to get round them. Like these shield dudes that you can only hit from the back.

Just made the hunting grounds but gonna have a break tonight at level 10.

Can someone explain like I'm 5. I bought the steam EA key, eventually will play on PlayStation when it releases all accounts are tied to my current email. If I purchase stashes on the site they will not carry over to PS.

Basically, Any items I purchase will be only usable on PC but I can still level up and play on PS because of cross-progression. Is any of my blabbering correct?

Ok just read it on their site. Meh. I guess I'll just level up on PS. Not buy anything.

Short update on the coin situation. Mine finally showed up.
Can someone explain to me what those extra stash things are?
Do I get more inventory space or something?

So what would be a good starting tank class for PoE2? I never got much into PoE1, but the hype is getting to me here, lol. Plus a few YouTubers I usually agree with are enjoying the game.

Was reading that Marauder and Templar are good?

Having fun with the warrior so far today. I usually take a tank class first to learn the game. Running 120fps pisser mode on the ps5 pro with vrr and it's been rock solid all day and running about 97 fps.

Eh, I'm in no hurry so I am leveling everything lol. I find a new item for another class, I play that class. Keeping them all about the same level. There are only 3 acts and the game is finally here. I play solo so I don't need to keep up with anyone. Just enjoy.

At a birthday party for a 1 year old just thinking about this game lol
