playing as a warrior and having a blast. game got significantly easier once I figured out how to use my skills properly
shockwave totem, earthquake, rolling slam, bone shatter combo is fun and seems to do decent damage with a 2 handed weapon. im going 100% into damage on the tree. usually everything is dead from the earthquake and totem alone but I'm only level 9
I'm squishy but you can actually play this like a souls game and roll around during most boss battles lol. it's pretty great

i just found out the Yellow Bar growing under the enemies health is the stun bar. So you can stun the enemy when it's full appearently.

On your HP globe, it's energy shield, which is like a barrier that gets deducted before your life does.
On your Mana globe, it's spirit, which is used to activate spirit (buff) gems, or to raise persistent minions like skeletal warriors.

Disenchant enough magic items so that you have enough mats to craft magic items yourself.
Disenchant enough rare items so that you have enough mats to craft rare items yourself (worry about that in later acts)
Sell stuff so that you have enough money to buy NPC shop items (they're sometimes really good) or to respec your passive tree.
Keep an eye out for how much stuff sells for and only bother picking up valuable stuff.
Also pick up high quality items and items with sockets, and salvage those in town too at the iron anvil thing.

The good news is that it runs really well on the Steam Deckard Cain and not only that, but it feels really good on a controller. I'm playing as a Sorceress. The four bosses I've faced have been varied and fun, but a tad on the easy side. I really like the overall tone and aesthetic of the maps. The only downside is that my first legendary drop was a crossbow and I did have the overworld map reset after fully clearing it and then going into the underground dungeon with the Worm boss.

The characters used durring EA will go to normal realm after EA. Same as eternal characters in Diablo 4

Lol, looks like they fixed the issue that was causing sorc to briefly render without a shirt when selecting MTX options - now the MTX screen won't come up at all until everything has loaded. That being said I'm somewhat impressed they actually painted the nip textures in the first place
Not sure what I think about the rest of the game but at least it's got jiggle physics which automatically boosts it several rating points in my view.

Fired up a monk on ps5 because cross progression isn’t working at all for some reason?
Coming off of sorc easy mode this is just miserable lol. Got to the cemetery and I have the bell ability now which I think is good, but the class just feels like a struggle having to do x to be able to do Y. I prefer just being able to focus on damage spamming moves: this class is not that.

Yep! It's been a while! For me not since Dark Souls 1. D2, DS and now PoE 2. It's about time.

what I'm really loving is how the game doesn't instantly flood you with a billion rare weapons with 100 mods early on
I've played d2 on and off since it came out, spending a ton of time on it again with d2r. after like 10 minutes I knew d3 wasn't for me, and the loot system was something that I immediately hated
this game feels a lot more like a d2 proper successor than d3 and d4

Same on PS5 can't zoom out, also when you show the map while playing can't zoom out or move the map. fix this shit GGG!
The game is so so good! I'm playing mercenary and the gameplay feels to me like dead nation or nuclear throne, the arbalet feels like a shotgun
. The different synergies reminds me of the binding of isaac! Like many I was a little intimidated by the actual complexity but so far 10h in and it's a blast. Complexity sure will come later.Everything is done in a manner so you don't fight the game, there's a pause menu, when you launch your 'save' the game is paused, from everywhere you can teleport back to the village if you need to sell items, you can respec etc...
It's really a pleasure to be introduced to the arpg genre with POE2. GGG did a really good job at letting you experiment and play without holdind too much your hand.
