Pretty sure port begging is a no-go here.
Also, this is going to fail, as it's a scattershot approach to a developer whose home market doesn't give a flip for PC gaming. What you guys should do is focus on a single title and then make it profitable for them when it gets released. Also, if they haven't already translated it, I doubt they'd do it now.

They have quite a way to show us that they don't 'give a flip' about PC gaming. They already make PC exclusive games. They own two development studios that primarily make those PC exclusive games.
Do you not know anything about Sega?
When you're shortlisted for the Sega presidency gig, you can point to this moment and say that you were "instrumental in broadening Sega's successes on the PC platform."![]()
If you look at the reception to Rome 2 I don't think this is a valid point.

- This isn't bannable 'port-begging,' what's frowned upon is going into established threads and derailing the discussion.
- Hard to just select a title and go, would fragment the community. Show Sega there is significant demand and allow them to make the best financial decision. I would suggest VC or Bayo, realistically, RoF probably won't happen.
- All of these games already have western releases.
- Sega has also, quietly, become a PC powerhouse in the last year or so. If you weren't heavily invested in the platform then you probably wouldn't notice.
Not everyone in this thread is here for VF5. Let them show they overall want more Sega games on the system and let Sega pick what they want to port.Which is one of the reasons I think we should target VF5 more directly than RoF.

Sega gives more then a flip about PC gaming, they are heavily invested in the platform and have repeatedly claimed that Total War is their biggest franchise currently.

Let's demand that Sega makes exclusive PC games from now on and forget consoles forever, this will resolve all our problems.
They both had mediocre sales. Sega somewhat showed interest in ROF adding outfits of Leanne to one or 2 games and also they were playable on Project X Zone.ROF - Again I doubt this , didnt this game sell horribly in the west?
Vanquish - YES Please. People have been begging for this for quite a while , please just release some kind of ultimate edition for PS4/PC/XB1. This needs dat 1080p/60fps.
What?

Both games have cult following and with how cheap porting the games usually is it should be profitable by selling 150k-300k in 1 year.
But I though Vanquish hit 880k for the month it released and Sega said it was profitable? I remember this number for some reason. I dont think ROF would have gotten this number , and even if it did Japan was probably responsible for it.
"And even though Vanquish didn't achieve the commercial success that we hoped, it got a great Metacritic. Even MadWorld, which was as bizarre as you like, had a Metacritic of 81 per cent. An exceptionally good studio.

It is, their console sales have been decimated. PC is where they were making some money, last report I saw.
PC gaming is dead
Bayonetta - This should come on the PC , given Rising's sucess. But with Ninty money hatting Bayo 2. There might be terms on that contract where Bayo franchise remain exclusive to ninty for a few years atleast.
So, we have ourselves a real name of which to unite ourselves under yet?
Demand PCgress?
Eh it sounds stupid and we already have a hashtag going.
That shit got Sega shook. If it ain't Yakuza or a Sonic game. Sega be like NOPE! lolIt is, their console sales have been decimated. PC is where they were making some money, last report I saw.
What about Eternity? We shall eternally bother Sega with out tweets lolWe gotta come up with a team name?
I though the hashtag would be enough lol #SegaPCPorts
'Destiny' seems rather fitting.

Did my part, but since Sega's library is massive I only asked for Bayo and Vanquish, since Platinum has experience working on PC with the MGR port. Gotta go step by step.
I think Jase makes a good point, but the success of another Bayoneta port could be mutually beneficial.
More potential consumers for the sequel and the Wii U brand would not go amiss for Nintendo.
From Eurogamer
Sales were not as they wanted.
400k by the end of 2010 and 900k by July 2013. Not fast but not what it was expected to do
It seems weird though , why give PC owners a taste of Bayo 1. When you will never ever give them Bayo 2. I understand this is beneficial for users who game exclusively on PC/Nintendo and have never had a taste of Bayo. But how large is that group anyway?
This is one of my favourite things about Steam. And a part of why I am so passionate to bring games to Steam. It will sell for years rather than having a couple of months to make the bulk of its sales. Interest doesn't have to be super high for the port to be profitable.

It isn't just my personal benefit I get out of it. But I strongly believe that it will benefit the sales of the games themselves.
