Having a former POI comes back sounds good. I always thought the people chosen to be POI were far from random and had all kinds of specialist skills the team could use later on.
I am still waiting for rescuing that judge to pay dividends.
Yeah, I think that is actually possible. There are so many possibilities to have her not around for a while. She could be oracle'd, in a coma or in some over sea prison. I would liker her be in a wheelchair because that's an entirely new direction for that action based character.

Should have just been called Schroedinger's Shaw. I love that Root and Reese were just straight up cold-blooded this episode, right up to the part where Reese realizes "fuck, we still gotta save this poor girl". They were just gonna go ahead (and did) torture what's-her-face.
Love John throwing the Nuremberg defence in her face though.
Also, didn't mind the return of IA Cop, but where the hell are Leon and Zoe at? I'm missing them. Also, why didn't Logan Pierce ever make a comeback? Or Julian Sands?
I miss some of these people, POI Writers!
But yeah, Samaritan is just fucking creepy. Jesus Christ, what a sociopath.

Afterlife definitely sucks if Greer is the one that meets you there. I bet they're setting up a plan to have Shaw return in the Season 3 finale or the Season 4 premiere.
Fusco was also great in this episode. Love that he just immediately clocked "dude's a serial killer hitman for hire it's pretty obvious rookie"

Although I liked both plots, I had the feeling that Fusco's side was eating away from Maple. I think that there was much potential to be had with a sandbox town. But maybe Samaritan has more of those.
I also am ready for Samaritan cyborg warriors and directly controlled humans. Maybe this is actually what is with the boy. The first successful project that is directly controlled by Samaritan via implant.
But good to see that Shaw is still alive. Although I think that she will be returning as an Samaritan cyborg.
