There's still some tension with the Elias thing, we know several of his men are gone somewhere. Could it have been his revenge, or is the Brotherhood killing them off?

Has shooting or production of the season already wrapped?

(Executive?) producer Athena Wickham is leaving Bad Robot, to join Kilter Films, and she will stay on Person Of Interest.
I guess that the later was mentioned in reports gives me some extra hope that there will be a season 5?

Shooting has wrapped, according to Winston Duke (Dominic) on a recent podcast.

That film studio is ran by Jonah Nolan, and apparently already co produces POI with Bad Robot.

She will continue on POI and Westworld, which Bad Robot co-produces with Kilter Films

I kinda assumed that was common knowledge in this thread, because the logos for Kilter and Bad Robot are at the end of each episode.

So yeah, I take mentioning her staying on PoI as a confirmation, that the studios at least expect the show to be back for season 5.

...wait, people actually sit through the credits?

Amy Acker is the MVP. Of all time. It's hard to think of other non main characters taking over a show as emphatically as she has done in POI.

She made my eyes twitch in that restaurant scene.

I generally don't watch the credits, I pretty much know who produces, directs and writes each episode. Although lately, I haven't checked, so I should check and be a good fan!

She and Alexis Denisof basically did the same thing on Angel. She's good at that.

I do.

And I kimda expected fans to know who makes a show.

I know which companies produce it, but definitely not because I sat through the promo for the latest NCIS.

Thought it was a good read, so I wanted to share it with POI-GAF.

It's a blog post by sci-fi author Peter Watts, who watched a few episodes of the show when it first started airing and dismissed it as garbage. He recently binged the whole thing and provides an account of his journey, offering some thoughtful criticism of the show. He's still extremely harsh on the "CBS" elements, but also praises it as one of the best sci-fi stories about artificial intelligence and the modern surveillance state. I particularly enjoyed his focused analysis of the last scene of S1, as his reaction almost exactly mirrors my own (and is similarly the moment when I was hooked in for the ride, and saw the potential greatness which S2 would begin to deliver).

Looks like another screening of a new episode at the Paley Center on Monday with a live stream.

If anyone ends up watching, keep the spoilers to yourself until the episodes air!

Every time they have screenings like these at comic shows or media events, the show takes a huge turn in a new direction. I am hoping this is for the next episode but they have completed filming for this season so who knows...

I am hyped like crazy, with that title for the next episode, it makes you think nothing will ever be the same.

So they just livestream it just like that? Seems kind of bizarre to me, but I'll tune in - at the very least for the cast/screw interviews. I wouldn't want to watch if it's E21 or 22 though.

Do you guys think that the episode will be direct feed or off screen?

The event is at 6:30 but the livestream starts at 7:15 so yeah, you have to be at the Paley Center to watch the episode. I'll probably avoid the stream altogether because I'm sure they'll talk about whatever they just watched (I would assume Terra Incognita but who really knows).

24 hours aren't that much, guys.

Except for Jack Bauer and all.

Getting ahead of ourselves but description for next week's episode:
“Asylum” – Reese and Fusco get caught in the war between the two newest POIs, rival crime bosses Elias (Enrico Colantoni) and Dominic (Winston Duke). Also, a tantalizing clue to Shaw’s whereabouts leads Finch and Root into a possible trap, and Control (Camryn Manheim) goes rogue to uncover the true intentions of the Samaritan program

That's one loaded episode. Kind of think that perhaps it should have been spread out over 2 episodes, either making this a 23 episode season, or replace one of the weaker episodes from the last few.

Well I assume it leads into the next episode which would be the finale. They sort of said as much in an interview about tonight's episode saying they often do a calm before the storm episode before their 2 episode finales.

Yeah, I would've thought they'd leave that for next season, but I guess it just proves that there's going to be a lot of loose ends left over for next season.

It's hard reading through this when the guy seems kind of up his own ass about how "bad" the show is.

Oh mah Gawd, hahahahahaha.

I always think when an episode is about to air that Sober forgets to put the description up, and when I go and check, he always has our backs. You are the best Sober.

Interesting, I wonder what this means for The Machine's interest.

One of a kind episode, it takes me back to S1 but it is only beginning...
