Phenomenal episode. Finally, Fusco gets his moment in the sun after he was rather underutilized for a lot of this season (I thought anyways). He did great work in the flashbacks and in the present day as he thought his life was almost at an end. An almost resigned dignity. And that scene in the bathroom with Carter, Chapman did fantastically. Good to see Carter finally have Fusco's back. He's a genuinely good person, and I hated how Carter at first refused to acknowledge that he's capable of change.
The plot with the doctor was great. The actor did a fantastic job. Loved the confrontation with the head of the hedge fund. That guy was such a shit the entire time, until the polonium reveal. One of the best things this show does is have that moment of
catharsis. That asshole got what he had coming, and I loved every second of it.
Finally, the Machine! It falling apart, that shit is scary.
Allison Scagliotti, I love you (and I love the whole brunette thing), but that nose ring was lame.
POI did a 2.4 last night, a series low.
ugh.
I hope everything rebounds. This and Hannibal were both down, and I blame... sports.
I know what this show needs: more weeks off.
NFL Draft
Every show had either a season or series low last night except for Scandal because guys don't watch Scandal. Or shows on the CW that aren't Supernatural.
Ugh.
A beautiful shot. I loved that moment, as sad as it was.
