Igor is giving me the run down on fusing Personas but I only have two Pixer & Arsene. Think Arsene is cool but I don't think I want to fuse him yet, is he worth keeping?
I recall Izanagi in P4 sucking and dropping off pretty early. I imagine you get better/cooler ones later, but I guess it's just a silly attachment I have to having my first Persona. Plus he's unique to the character. Do I lose him for good? Is it actually worth going back and capturing another Persona?

I let the weird diamond enemy get away, I'm at the point where I've secured a way in but is there another one in this dungeon? If so, where is it?

I'm assuming you're askingg about hhow to encounter the diamond aggain. Basically you encounter him by brreakingg small treasurees and he might pop out from it. The chances of him appearing is base on high the security alert% is at. The higher it is, the moree likely u will encounter him

Some of them are actually avoidable, especially the red ones.
I don't think so, but if you go far enough in his you unlock a Mementos mission that blocks both of them until it's finished.
I think you keep the favor but don't quote me on that. I think he just has a really high threshold to rank up in general even beyond this special case.

The casino heist/interrogation is all flash forward stuff. I mean they even show the date and he's already awakened to his Persona and met the other Phantom Thieves so...

It was the easy choice.
Finally got the treasure and left the dungeon. I spent the whole day, like 4 hours just grinding from level 6 to 13.
This game is really difficult and it's definitely ruining the experience for me. I had to switch difficulty to easy. It's not casual friendly at all. I guess there's safe mode... I might just switch to that so I can enjoy everything else about the game.

Well , I bought into the hype and picked this up today. I'm close to 2 hours in and it feels like I've accomplished little to nothing ... so I suppose I can see why it takes 100 + hours to get through the whole shebang. I haven't played a Persona title since the second one either.
I can say this much though- the maps are kind of confusing to navigate so far but I imagine it'll get better with time. As well, I'm not sure what to make of the translation, the actors seem fairly competent and it's at least on par with a modern day anime dub but.... the over pronouncement of Japanese names and leaving in the suffixes (san,kun,chan,etc) is ... just a little odd. Basically, those complaints I've read about this being too literal a translation and not enough of a localization are 100% true so far. If I was just reading it with the Japanese voices I don't think I'd mind so much ... so I may end up switching it over. It just feels like a shame because the english voice over cast is generally pretty good so far.

I've only played as far as "after school on monday" and I'm about to go meet sakamoto on the roof , does the persona recruitment stuff get a brief tutorial that just shows up later on or should I have been able to do that in the afternoon training dungeon ?
All in all , I'm liking what I've seen so far. It sure takes it's time to get going though.
