Persona 3 has bad pacing, but stick with the game, it really pays off in the end.
Expect lots of people shooting themselves in the head. Also social links. Also Personas. Also creepy guys with long noses.
Sure. Expect a social game that you have to micromanage your time in since you always have a lot to do but always a limited time to do it, mixed with Pokemon JRPG gameplay. Also expect some of the strongest casts of characters in gaming when it comes to anything Persona related.

You can expect some very dark, serious themes. You won't be able to see, these themes are so dark.

Meh I am not worried about pacing. RPGs/JRPGs are my favorite genre so I am immune to pacing of the story lol.

Finished Chihiro's S.Link just so I wouldn't have to worry about her S.Link anymore. Was kind of funny that Chihiro freaked out so much at the idea of the main character and Mitsuru being alone in a room together considering they live in the same building (along with two other girls their age). Did he just like... neglect to tell her that?
Finished Tanaka's as well, pretty disappointed with it all around. One of the few S.Links I've seen in either of the games that made me feel nothing. It didn't help that all of the scenes were essentially the same.
I think, as dumb and goofy the secret video recordings are, I like them because they give a chance to see the characters just doing random things; helps you get a better appreciation for them when you can see them doing and talking about things unrelated to the actual plot. Like, as goofily fanservicey Mituru's walking around in a towel scene was (and seriously, is everyone really okay with all of these things being recorded?!), it was nice to see her behaving like an actual human being and not some sort of Stepford Wife with hints of a brooding past.
But I don't buy that Akihiko is bad with women, not even a little bit. Guy has chicks following him home every day apparently. Come on.
Speaking of Mitsuru, where did her random French go? I don't miss it per se, but she just kind of... stopped.
