P3P SEPTEMBER
So uh, I guess I shouldn't have kissed Chihiro so soon. This SLink reverse thing has left poor Makoto flabbergasted. In spite of being a suave, debonair, charismatic, intelligent, tough guy, he don't have the slightest clue what is wrong with this girl, and begging on his knees at school has done him no good. I mean, none of the other girls he's dating are mad at him.
Meanwhile Clara locked herself in her room for four days because lady bro Saori left. I know I'm reading into it, but that "my first love was my uncle" stuff either meant "my parents and uncle are abusive please save me" or "I am in lesbians with you." Also Fuuka managed to make rice, meaning her cooking is now still worse than Nanako's but better than Chie, Yukiko and Rise's.
Kenji tried to hit on Yukari while cleaning the photography booth's stuff. Everyone agreed he was a complete loser and ignored him for the rest of the forever. Clara spent time with Akihiko and realized that outside of Mitsuru, NOBODY IN THIS DORM HAS A HEALTHY HOME. I mean, her folks are dead. Makoto's parents are dead. Yukari's dad is dead and her mother is apparently a full time whore. Aigis is a robot whose creators probably died. Ken is like "MY MOM SAID SHE WAS TOUGH!" Akihiko and Shinji are orphanage buddies, and Koromaru's master is dead. I guess Fuuka has parents but its hard to tell if asexual life-forms call the amoeba they divided from "Mom" or "Pop." And while I'm not sure, I kind of worry that Mitsuru's mother is Ragyo Kiryuin, hence her absence from everywhere.
Shinjiro is now Popeye 'cuz he worries if we're eating our greens. There's something deeply wrong about an elementary school kid wielding a Sexy Lance. Maiko wants me to get involved in her parents' bitter divorce and I'm like "Girl, I have ENOUGH friends with parent problems already."
Meanwhile Nozomi couldn't decide if the stain on his armpit was natural or from that last triple-decker, but he is convinced it looks like Jesus.

It just sorta dawned on me during that SLink I was like. "ORLY? You're an orphan? Am I sympathy now? CUZ ERRYBODY IN THIS DORM IS ONE."
They look better in P3M than the game. Soejima'a art is better than most, but those portraits are a little messy.
Like I've said before, all the people in P3 are screwed by something that is out of their control (...Except for maybe Kenji). In P4, the vibe is "You can fix this if you change the way you think", whereas in P3 it's "You're fucked. Enjoy!".
The P3 portraits are a bit funky for sure. I thought you meant Soejima's art in general.
Soejima's P3 art was much less precise, less 'cute' and more deformed than his newer stuff.
Persona 5 will be about the many ways you can be fucked by society, and yeah, the P3 cast are a total Dysfunction Junction.

I'd rather have it on the Vita, I love RPG on portable consoles.
I'm going for Vita. I'm sad that I have to pay double for it though, since we don't get X-2 as a digital voucher over here in Singapore.
I'd say PS3. I'll always be a sucker for playing JRPG on the big screen.
In other news, I am now 24. Which also means I'm an old man who requires a walking cane. Who wants to send me one?

PS3 version looks and runs better, if you are going to only play it home, might as well just get it on PS3.

I noticed this in P4G portraits as well but what is that rainbowy tint near the middle of her body?
Probably from the coloring/shadowing or something. I don't think there's any hidden meaning.
I mean, at least she's wearing actual clothes now instead of... whatever the hell it was she wore in P3.

Someone (i.e. You) should write a book on how all dogs, excluding one, are unable to get tummy rubs now.; it'll be the equivalent of Saramago's Blindness.
It's a stylistic thing. It's only in the actual portraits in the game. The image gets progressively darker to draw attention to the face, I think.
If I write it in beef gravy and peanut butter, the universal language of dogs, it will be the NY Times #1 best seller in the "For Dogs" category.

In other news, I blew 1,200,000 yen in the game buying 2 bikinis, a pair of swim trunks and a sun-dress. But it was all worth it for these conversations:

Also as team leader I order you to go tell Chihiro she needs to stop being mad at me for stealing her sacred first kiss at an inappropriate time in the relationship.

Well they certainly like their re-releases but I don't know....wouldn't expect anything on that until after P5 is out. But even then, I don't think it'll happen.
