Because I love the Persona 4 cast and think the Shadow Operatives are seriously lame.

EDIT: This conversation reminded me that I made a topic on GFAQs as soon as I finished P4G (July 1st last year, apparently) about a P4 sequel. Just went back to have a look and... I was a lot more positive on P4G than I remembered. Some choice quotes:

I don't care what Hashino says, or even if the ending references it (Not that I'd understand it anyway!), Arena is not canon. It makes no sense for the characters to look so significantly different in the epilogue but identical in Arena, and more to the point, there is no way these guys would fight each other. I defy anyone to watch the complete ending and then accept that they'd fight. I'm sure there'll be a reason, but there will not be a good one. Guaranteed.

It does, but it doesn't.


In general, farm megidola/megidoloan gems, put them on personas that aren't weak to magic, and you've got all the best personas for your characters.


For me, I made sure I had megidoloan on almost everyone(think it's 3k coins at the casino for a Scorched Tablet, which makes a persona learn Megidoloan when fused, so you either get good at the games or just convert 300k yen to it(easy as hell at the end). A Full Moon Tablet I think it was(item that heals your party but is consumed, costs 25k iirc) teaches on Mediarahn, so yeah. Final battle had 3 characters that had both a mediarama/rahn and megidoloans. Still a long fight because of mechanics, but yeah, had little issue. Just wish the ultimate personas for everyone weren't freaking garbage, minus Maki's...


Strat wise, was everyone casting megidoloan while Maki healed, enemies that reflected Nuclear(a lot of them late) resorted to gunfire with cupid bullets to make sure they didn't get turns. Just kind of alternated between auto replay and auto guns, and won the game at around lv55-60.

They should totally make a Shadow Operatives strategy game, featuring some cameos from the P2 cast.

I think that'd be a neat way to bring the whole world together in a way that would allow P5 to just be its own thing.

Street Fighter with Akihiko and Chie, but a crime fighting duo. He punches stuff, she kicks stuff. Can have Naoto for those third person shootbang moments too, every game NEEDS that!

One of the funniest moments from the anime, especially with it coming out of nowhere. Exams and Chie don't mix apparently. :p

Persona 4: Done.

What a fucking awesome game. Never played any of these games before and really didn't expect to like it, just picked up my brothers copy out of boredom. Starts a little slow, but once you get a grasp on all the systems in place and get the actual game going, it's all so good.

It's so unique it seriously wound up being one of my favorite gaming experiences ever.

Done gushing about it now. Carry on.

Relatives came over, and they brought Persona 3FES (I asked them over the form)

It's really late, but I got to play through some portion of the "answer." Even though I recently watched the scenes on youtube, I can't over how good the beginning of the intro is. Junpei, Yukari and Akihiko especially shine because it's clear that they want no part of this, and react like a normal person would. I also love how Aigis reluctantly assumes the mantle of "MAIN CHARACTER"

It's honestly more fun to play than watch!

So every so often, I'll have a week or so where I don't really listen to much Meguro music, and then I'll jump back in, and my mind will be blown all over again.

I've been listening to Conjure One for the last week, decide to put on DDS' OST today, and good lord it's amazing.

Epic Battle is like the best thing ever.

So, I've had Period as my alarm in the morning for almost three years, and it still hasn't gotten old. Nor have I come to hate it for waking me up every morning.

It's just the best.
