So audiovideonation.com gave me a call today about the TV I ordered, and they were very insistent that I upgrade to freight shipping (instead of the free shipping I chose) and that I buy an extended warranty (which, contrary to their implied statement that it's a Sony warranty, is likely a 3rd party warranty judging from other customer reviews). And from other reviews that I'm seeing, people who decline these offers sometimes just have their orders hang in limbo forever.
Welp, that's the kind of low-ball nonsense that'll get me to cancel and order elsewhere instead.
Yeah that sounds like a load of horse shit. I would say just go amazon and feel good about their return policy for anything, but looks like that particular set is a few hundred more on amazon for some reason.
