Wonder if this is the right thread. Well here goes.
I've been a PC gamer for almost 20 years. Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 hooked me to the souls-like genre, and with Bloodborne being a PS4 exclusive, I finally decided to buy a PS4 and The Last of Us (Remastered). I only had a small trash TV though, upgraded that too.
Wow, I can definitely see the appeal now. There was something so...relaxing about it. I still love my PC, but I think my PS4 will find a lot of use in the future. I'm even tempted to buy some multiplat "better played with a controller" -games (as opposed to KB+mouse) on PS4 rather than PC.
Setting up PSN connection was a real pain though. First, it required a software update. But error happened on server! Can't update! I had to look up safe mode, download update to USB hard drive, install it from there. Install success, console restart...and PSN still doesn't connect, same error. Eventually I figured out that all I had to do was restart my router.
*facepalm*
I still can't connect to PS store though. It ends up in a forever "Please wait" -loop. Is this normal? I had a couple of those during PSN setup, but repeating the steps eventually solved the issue.
