PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS4/PS3) | January 2015

Darkest Dungeon is what I should've put for most anticipated game. That shit looks so fucking good.

Haven't seen you in a while. Howdy.

I mentioned it on the show when I briefly talked about the indies, but man, this video... Guys. It's official, my MOST hyped game for the vita is a PC port and I don't even give a damn. Just let me play this on my OLED, and I'm a happy camper.

Got caught up in school work. Also, all my friends play LoL so I got sucked in. I still play Vita from time to time mostly on way to school and during breaks. I haven't bought games in a while so I got nothing to hype about.

I'm slowly reading past news and announcement about games and stuff since I've been away from neogaf for a while.

It's weird seeing you here again :lol

Watch our podcast :D

you would.

Vita keeps me alive.

Gonna keep visiting the thread again but not with the same vigor since I have so many things to do and games to play now that it's hard to keep track of things.

24 hours just isn't enough for a day.

There's one?! Link please!

Welcome back!

And you can find us here:

www.vitameans.wordpress.com

We just put our first official episode out, after a "beta" of sorts that we dubbed as episode 0. It'll help you out filling in with the recent news on the Vita :p
Which reminds me, to those who listened, what would you like us to talk about on the next show as the main topic?

PMed you. :D Enjoy. There's also a vita LINE chat. I think Zero put a link in email tags inside the OP, but I can't recall exactly.

Gonna watch episode 0 and 1. A podcast dedicated to Vita and stuff is pretty hype to me.

Thanks we got a lot of feedback on Episode 0, episode 1 was the result of that feedback and the beginning of what you can expect every week aha. It's a fun little project of ours for the time being :p

Legend of Mana for 3$... I'm really tempted. I have a big backlog, though. But it's only 3$ (but I need to buy a 10$ PSN card to buy it...).

I was about to pull the trigger on 3rd birthday until I saw the scathing remarks about it in another thread.

Oh well. I have 20 bucks worth of PSN credits so maybe I'll spend it on Grim Fandango + some PSOne classic.

The previous sale and this one totally filled up my poor 32gb! ㅠㅠ. Now I gotta decide if I'm gonna upgrade to a 64gb or just get another 32gb card for my Vita. How painless is the swapping of cards btw?

Do you have a lot of bubbles? If yes, very painful.

64GB is the way to go.

A 64 GB will fill up just as fast =3

There are ways to mitigate how bad the bubble rearranging is, but really, you want to just get a 64. Sell your 32 afterwards to retro-subsidize (or save it for a pstv). I only had dual 32s for a short while before I gave up on the second due to lost time spent shuffling backgrounds and bubbles (and this post-patch where they made it sort of remember stuff).

64g, all the way. And yes, you'll fill it up too. But you have the freedom to keep pages dedicated to franchises you love (say, a FF page or a wipeout page or whatever) without pushing you down to scraps left afterwards, at least.

Citizens of Earth is up on the european stores. It's not cross-buy? :(

LMAO at the price of "Best of Arcade Games". 10 euros each mini-game?

I don't know. It's just another one of those Sony things. I didn't know about it either until a few weeks ago and learned my lesson then.

Ah well, at least I learnt something new today.

Also don't have to worry about topping up my wallet, I can wait for it to be on sale again. No big loss for me.

Vita just reached the 800 games milestone (released and announced), surpassing the Gamecube, N64 and Dreamcast total number of games. So much for a dead system with no games.

Next milestone: 1000 games (surpassing the OG Xbox).

Wow, that milestone should be easy enough to lock at the current rate.

So I will use the 10% discount this week-end for:

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris & Season Pass Pack €14.50
Tales from the Borderlands – Season Pass €14.00
Citizens of Earth €10.79

That will save me around 4 euros, well, that's already that

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - 65% off – Original price £9.99/€12.99
Shopping list for myself

So about that Lara Croft Osiris Season pass, what exactly is included, will there be more stuff in the future? I'm only interested in new dungeons/levels to explore, don't care about any new items, costumes and characters, will it be worth it for me?

Hmm...

Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands

or...

The Crew?

I know everyone hates The Crew, but I just want to drive around the miniature US.

Oh, and thanks to all you guys who recommended Driveclub to me earlier. Really enjoying it so far.

I Wanna Be The Guy

Yeah but most of them are garbage indies and not real games.

I'm gonna be getting Temple of Osiris with the discount at the weekend. How is it compared to Guardian of Light?

GoT & Tales from the Borderlands will get a better discount before all episodes are out, so I wouldn't buy those yet. Haven't played The Crew though, so can't say anything about that
