I love that system, it's just like Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls.

TOTP: Buy Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls (PS3/PSN).

They usually announce them within 24 hours of the last store post of the month IIRC.

So around tomorrow or Wednesday then. Good to know. Now that we're past the titles that were promised, everything ahead is a mystery. I wonder if they'll manage another retail/sub-retail level offering like Injustice or First Light.

Ok so I'm looking to create another account for JP/Asian releases. I was going to simply create a JPSN account but then I figured, wouldn't it be easier to make a HKPSN and set the text to English? I could still navigate the store and download stuff. Curious if there is some reason to do JPSN over HKPSN?

I'm going to join the chorus of 'I'm perfectly fine with that type of spell system'.

It forces you to manage your spells better, rather that just buying a ton of mana potions and popping them for unlimited magic use.

SNIP And there's also spells that are good but never worth their cost so you never see them in play, which I think this sort of design is great for.

Yep. In regards to the 'balance' issue, this system is actually great for balance. As you mentioned, people generally end up spamming the same spells (either low or high level, depending) spells, quaffing potions, all the time. Once you get Greater Fireball, why ever use Fireball? Mana is generally easy to replenish in most games because it needs to be for a 'mana point' system to work well at all.

Spell Quantity systems are nice because, as others mentioned, they really get you to use all the spells you otherwise ignore. It's also a good way to feel like you're going deep into a dungeon -- you need to be careful, not just carry 100 mana potions, because you need to be able to get in, get out, and rest before running out.

Already a day 1 buy, but I'm actually more excited than I was.

If MangaGamer liked the Vita as much as Sekai Project does, we'd get a Vita port of the upcoming Higurashi no Naku Koro ni release. I know Kaga Create is porting the game to the PS3 and Vita, but I doubt anyone will touch those.

Probably gonna buy Ambition of the Slimes on PSM: http://www.148apps.com/reviews/ambition-slimes-review/

PSM version has no IAP.

Anyone know if Life Is Strange is going to have a Season Pass?

It will for $20.

Sekai seems to have had a rough time getting approved as a Vita dev. I can see why other publishers in their market wouldn't be rushing in.

Judging from other developers that got licensed for releasing Vita games, this could be an isolated case.

I wonder what's the holdup. Are they just slow? Is it some old timey "visual novels aren't games therefore a publisher that only puts out visual novels isn't welcome" sort or thing? Are they afraid some kid will Google one of their games, or the company's name, and find pornographic scenes from PC versions?

Shizuka, please. Stop changing avatar.

On serious note, I refuse to play wizardry games on anything but handheld.

That's the only reason, but even so, I think they're just doing standard procedure when they could've gotten in touch with key SCEA/SCEE people that would've helped with that.

This is a keeper, from Stranger of Sword City.
And to throw people off-guard.

So NISA has just informed me that there are only 10% left for Criminal Girls LE. I fully believe people are secretly buying this game.

That sounds really awesome. It's an SRPG style game where you are lowly slimes against incoming heroes and need to possess heroes by jumping into their mouths) and using their own attacks against them.

4.29 on psm is a bit more than I like to spend on psm games though. Unless they're named tokyo jungle. Anyone want to bite the bullet and give us another review?

I was gonna make a new thread for this but cant as a junior member. Does anyone else feel like the avatar selection is severely lacking? These are the avatar from the PS3 launch day. Pure laziness on Sony's half and they are all pretty ugly. Xbox Live has really cool looking ones and adds to the UI of the system. The PS4 UI is pretty bland overall compared to Xbox One but the avatars are an easy fix and very noticeable one.

So can we muster up enough attention for Sony to change this?

Apparently Grim Fandango Vita is 3.5 GB
Can anyone confirm this?

Hopefully that's just both filesizes put together, as per PSN/SEN usual... would still be big, though at 1.25 ish

That's digital game back ups only, with everything that can possibly be physical as physical. 128GB card... the dream that could've been.

Gamasutra.
Surprising no one, Sony screwed up the Grim Fandango preorders. :(

Stayed up to play a few minutes, and the timer reset on my download for another 24 hours. There is a fix in the OT for the game, but now I have to wait for another download. Instead of waiting up until the wee hours of the night, I'm just throwing my hands up in the air and going to bed.

Fricking fricking frick.

It's not so surprising, the original was released on two CDs and that had full voice acting. The remaster has that in addition to updated textures, orchestrated soundtrack, and developer commentary.

Edit: Also judging by the general level of chagrin that a lot of folks have been waiting for Grim Fandango's glorious return.

I've been itching for some news on the next Resogun DLC so I did some browsing in the Housemarque forums and I read a few comments from the site admin that make it seem like a new trailer for the DLC should be out this week (as well as the expansion, maybe?)

Feel free to read through the last 2 pages:
http://www.housemarqueblog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=221&start=30

In another thread on those forums, that site admin (back in December) said, "We are targeting mid January now (don't know the precise date, depends on QA). There shouldn't be any other delay provided that no game breaking bugs are found."

Currently VERY hyped right now if it's indeed coming out this week.

Started downloading on my vita and its 3.1gb confirmed. So glad I finished ffx now and didn't get around to installing x2.

Tried to download the ps4 port of grim but for the first time I had no idea how to get the game to download on ps...

That's impressive. Is that including PSP/PSone Classics or just Vita?

I'm at 127 GB, but I'm fully digital.

Woah what was the ps4 preload size?

Glad I finished and cleared off FFX on the weekend so I have the room even if it is 3gb+

PS4 size is 3 GB too I think?
Can't believe I cleared up FFX-2 digital off my Vita just so Grim Fandango would take its place lol.
