They still have a lot of content , maybe eoty show? I know they have a lot more shit , could just not be ready
Or maybe Sony just doesn’t care, they do come across as arrogant. If you skip E3 , gamescom, and other shows I expect megatons

its better showcase due its using hardware as part of trailer to show its gameplay this is good presentation than trailers that just showy and lack of engaging elements to watchers..yup its a good tease but no content on it (this is why i am bored watching xbox conference

Infamous was made by Sucker Punch who recently made Ghost of Tsushima. Insomniac is doing Spiderman and Wolverine, previously did the Ratchet and Clank and Resistance games

Thought it was a pretty bad show considering the radio silence by Sony for over a year.
GT7 I’m kinda of excited for but cross gen mutes that a little.
KOTOR Remake was cool.
Wolverine I might be interested in as long as it’s not a open world copy and paste fest like Insomniacs Spider-Man games. Plus it’s at least 2-3 years away so no point getting hyped.
Beyond that it’s really hard to be excited for what Sony has coming up in terms of 1st party games in the near future.
They either need to start spreading out “big” announcements through the year more frequently or if they insist on showing nothing year to year then their next show needs to be faaar better than this or I genuinely start worrying about them this gen.

How big is Insomniac? They're putting in work. That, or we're not going to see Wolverine until 2025 after Spider-Man 2.
I'm excited about Wolverine though. I hope they go all out like Raven did with X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I quite enjoyed that game despite some shortcomings.

GOW2 barely looks better than 1. WTF is this? Guess my ps4 pro is gonna get a lot more mileage than I expected. And what's with the marvel cringey dialogue in Forspoken? I thought that was a serious game with a serious story.

Because people consider now the 60fps as next gen. If they put more resolution and double the framerate from PS4Pro, they've eaten half the extra power of PS5.
It's like Ratchet, it only looks next gen in 30fps mode. 60fps are awesome but a burden for improved visuals in consoles. I hate the quality/performance choice in this generation.

Project Eve - Pair this with a better lighting model, and it would look amazing.

I gave it a D, I was expecting at least one thing drop jaws, or at least show something clearly next gen, but we got PS4 games at higher res,textures and settings. In Ragnarok There may be some additional geometry and effects but it looks very much like a ps4 game at higher settings.
Forbidden west seems to have more work put into the PS5 version, with high geometric detail and additional light sources.

Spiderman 2 announced for PS5, but no mention no PS4 version coming so we can assume it's likely cross gen and in the same city with same assets
God of War Ragnarok looks like more of the same and no next gen leap in graphics as it's cross gen

God of War looks incredible. It doesn't look impossible on PS4, but it looks fantastic artistically and design wise. Looks epic, amazing draw distance. The geometry and texture work looked fantastic. Looks like God of War on PS4 taken to the next level, which honestly isn't a bad thing. It was one of the best games all of last gen, and one of the best games ever. Wolverine was the big surprise for me, but it looks pretty far off. Without seeing Kotor remake to see how much work was really done with no date, and it also being timed, that took away from it some.
Show overall gets a C from me. It's along the lines of what I expected. There was no major surprise for me.
