Sweet, I can finally get the SSFIV costume bundles. :D

It seems to be very hit or miss for everyone, some have few problems while others are not getting good connections at all.

They are already working on a patch for it though, it was announced along with the demo.

Even in three bar connections I'm having terrible lag inputting moves. They should not have released a demo if the netcode is in this state, because I refuse to buy the game if it's going to be this terrible.

Atlus and SNK/Suckmore better release an updated demo/patch the demo netcode if they want me to consider it.

I think that they can leave without you. XD

Give it a chance man. Is probably the best KOF ever and the first one having chances of being part of EVO.

Me and millions of people that play online and aren't the Evo/Pro players that play offline? Yeah, good luck believing that, Fersis. Because Online is the sole-reason S/SF4 is popular.

I kinda liked the little I played. But none of the characters (outside of Terry and K') in the demo grab me. But the netcode killed any chance of me even thinking of buying it. There's no way I'm buying yet another fighter to play offline. I've already got three of those to play when my face gets beaten in online.

Sorry to read that dood. But thats what we got. =/
I would love to have kickass netcode but .. oh well.

bad gameplay lol
KOF XIII demo is meatier than I thought it'd be. Nice. Will buy at some point, eventually.

And um...is there a Marvel Pinball thread ANYWHERE? I've only managed to find a couple pre-release threads. I want to talk about the new tables, dammit. Moon Knight table is awesome!

Also I don't see why SNK can't just play nice with Arc and get their netcode. Yeah, I know, direct competitor, but still. =/

The only thing for me this week was KOF demo. Boy am I glad I tried the demo to, love the characters and the art, the combo's are easy enough ... But meh.

Saved me $60.

Was hoping for Plus discount for the new Marvel tables. The free Marvel Pinball game plus the 50% discount on the old tables does not really help me, I already have all of them...

Should I wait until there is a discount for the new Marvel tables? Decisions, decisions...

ATTN DARK SOULS FANS!

The dynamic themes available today are for this covenants:

- Way of the white
- Princess Guard
- Sunlight Warriors
- Darkwraiths

On December 21th, they will release the rest! Also, for free.

- Path of the Dragon
- Chaos Servants
- Forest Hunters
- Gravelord Servants
- Blades of Darkmoon

Awesome. My current favorite of those is the Darkwraith theme. Nice black, so all the XMB icons are visible.

Pretty sure the Pinball FX 2 thread is the closest to a Marvel Pinball thread. They are just DLC on Xbox 360.

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
So there's a US PSN discount on the top games? When is it going to start? Also wow, I never knew Rayman 3 is going to get an HD release.

Hey, there's Fear Effect too! That's good, right?!

I'm going to get Corpse Party, which I was waiting, and maybe Fear Effect.

Dunno, never heard of it :p

Also, NFS price was a typo. Don't worry. It's only £50! That's only £20 overpriced instead of £40. Whew

Checking the EU blog a second time, I noticed something. That minis game, Ambassador Kane, wouldn't it have been faster/easier to only post where it is available? lol

Hoard is a pub fund game? Interesting, had no idea. Own the game on Steam. I agree it is very fun.

Are there any discounts for the Holiday Collection outside of the tiny ones on bundles? I thought the Holiday Collection would be full of discounts, but they are all full priced. Wish Sony wouldn't be so price protective of games on PSN. Especially during banner events like the one they are currently running.

Ah, it was on the blog. Thanks ULTROS! for giving the link.

I imagine the SCEA-published list is disappointing. Nothing from 2011 except PJS2? It's a fine game, and all, but did SCEA not publish anything else this year worth playing?!

Edit: Looking at the list on Wikipedia, I guess I'm not sure what SCEA published this year. SideScroller too, I imagine...

Holy freaking shit at the €70 price tag on The Run!

I laughed so hard I almost shat myself. I mean, this game will cost €8 within two weeks, maybe less. What a cock-up.

The American store ain't better this time around: $40 for the latest Red Faction turd. I just bought it for £4.

Nice to see Explodemon make that list. I felt bad for them when I saw the news earlier this week they only sold 11 copies of Explodemon on gamersgate but the gamergate version was priated like 180,000 times or something (for the record they don't blame gamersgate, its just that was the version that leaked out)

I never did buy it though, demo didn't seem like my kind of game. Might give it another go though

Maybe Sony shifted their focus on Pub Funds this year. Compared to last year, the only pub fund title that I could think of was Joe Danger. Next year would probably be Pub Funds too because the only Sony PSN title coming out next year is Journey.

Also posted this in the deadish Renegade Ops OT, but probably has a better shot here:

Seeing as the PSN version of Renegade Ops has been patched I'm looking for a few people who would be willing to be play through the game on hardcore difficulty tomorrow at 8pm EST. Add me if interested.

Just wondering, was there anything wrong with the game before? Or do you mean the trophy stuff that didnt register properly? (i still managed to get 100% of the trophies after beating the game a 2nd time though).

http://www.psnstores.com/review/review-renegade-ops/

When my brother left me for his Azerothian duties, I hopped on the PSN to see how the game performed online. The first couple of games I joined went through without a hitch. I played with a couple of other people and we had a great time splitting up to complete secondary objectives then focusing our efforts on the main targets. Then came the hitches, hard and fierce. On several occasions, the game stalled while loading a mission and one person’s game would lock up. The game wouldn’t load until said person restarted his PS3, effectively leaving the game. Even then the game took upwards of five minutes to get past the loading screen abyss. There is also a known bug that essentially voids some of your upgrade points when playing online. The only remedy is to restart from scratch or choose a new character to progress.

In the end I did buy Fear Effect (along Corpse Party) and frankly I wish I didn't. I hate the controls in this.

And Phantasy Star Portable 1 & 2 are still missing from the U.S. PSN store, and I've tweeted to Sega twice with no response. I'd assume they weren't taken down, but it's been a couple weeks now since I tried to buy the second game (and I don't even have enough money left unless it goes on sale now, lol).

Buy Trine 2 people. Bought it on Steam, finished it in about 11 hours, very cool game. Better than the original.

Glad I can buy Sonic CD on PSN. Oh wait.
