I use the cloth to wipe the middle and rims in a circular motion, then use canned air to blow out any dust and hair. I clean it every 2-3 sessions.

same, i also used canned air since the cloth left dust particles after i wiped.
I have to say watching movies on this is surprisingly decent.
I've never really had any trouble with depth perception before, but I notice with PSVR that things don't really seem like they're in 3D. I don't have a strong sense of "presence" like people talk about. It's more like I'm sitting in the middle of a dome-shaped screen. Everything feels sorta flat.
Anyone else?

Right stick and play with the comfort options by pressing options in the practice arena. Some people are better turning off the narrow FOV when turning.
Fantastic impressions. Shit, I need to stay OUT of this thread.
Amazon said this? I'd contact Amazon directly they're usually very good about stuff like this.
You know what, I turned 50 this March (16th,preorder day),been gaming for over 40 years.... seen all the changes and advancements in programming and tech bringing us forever increasing immersion and entertainment in our hobby.
Well, PSVR just brought that "kid at Xmas" feeling right back to this cynical bastard. I really can't wait to see and play all the coming titles over the next few months, it's bloody great time to be a gamer!
I bought rigs, dcvr,thumper...been through the demo disc and playroom vr (yep, that platformer NEEDS a full game) and theres nothing I'd consider *crap* amongst em all.
Sony, if I wore a cap I'd doff it in your direction.
Just turned 46 and I completely agree. Feels like Xmas 1978.. just unwrapped my Atari for Xmas and fired up Pitfall... Dem feels.
If you've never tried VR, you will be blown away. It's much better than I was expecting it to be.
IMO first thing you should do is try the Ocean Descent demo from VR Worlds on the demo disc. It's underwater and the PSVR already feels like you're wearing a snorkeling mask (so it's really immersive), and it's non-interactive so it's a nice intro to the feeling of VR.
I asked this before without replies, so does PSVR work with any "vr-video"? Has anyone downloaded and transferred 360 videos to their PS4 and watched them with it?
I'm really hoping with the pro we can get some better IQ in some games. Job Sim looks great. Hoping some devs will patch some current games like Battlezone. Cockpit looks great, distant objects, not so much.
Godsend device for all the VR headsetsI owned now that we are mentioning this. It's not really grounded, although I use in my MOBO and all, it has a risk of ESD for sensitive exposed boards. For stuff like VR headsets it never has caused me any issues.

For lenses:
This is what pros use and it has an end with India ink that has a little nub that contours to a lens shape. The ink/pad are designed to create enough mechanical friction to remove stuff on lenses. The other end has a brush for cleaning lenses by just brushing off material.

It's very hard to drink tea with this headset on. God damn it Sony.
Is it better than watching Netflix on GearVR?
Agreed and I also feel the fov is bigger on the psvr vs my gear w/s6.YES.
For clarity: The screen has MUCH less screen door effect. In Gear you can virtually see the pixels and even the sub pixels, and with a noticeable gap between them. PSVR has slightly lower resolution but this effect is massively reduced on PSVR. I find it deals with darker colours better than the Gear did, and there's massively reduced smearing (when black elements of the image blur onto lighter elements when you move your head).
And the best thing about it... PSVR is much clearer to the edges of the screen. Gear VR's sweet spot was like a circle in the middle of your vision then got real blurry real quick just outside of that area. PSVR's clear zone extends much further, basically most of the way until you reach the edge of the lenses.
yes, physically moving it up down and side to side, as i said it felt twisted when i;d finished but i had crystal clear vision, i'm guessing when i put the headset on before and it felt straight one of my eyes were out of focus.
Good point. Well made
I love watching big popcorn movies on it, like Star Wars. It really does feel like watching an IMAX film in the theater, and for all intents and purposes it is exactly the same thing.YES.

If I grab 2 used Move controllers from Gamestop they will work with my PSVR right?
Yes. Sony has not updated them in any way for PSVR.
Watched a bunch of Football on this thing yesterday.
not nearly as cool as gaming on it, but a pretty awesome side use.

Watched some of the Japan GP on it.
Made me hope F1 2017 has VR support.
The most impressive thing to me so far was being able to really smoke a cigar in London Heist. Having the microphone be able to pick up you inhaling and exhaling was amazingly imjpressive, more so than anything I played on Vive.
Rush of Blood was also extremely impressive, more so than anything also on my Vive. That's the thing i'm finding; the Vive is a better experience but it's a bunch of shovelware one trick pony shit. Atleast so far on PSVR there's cool stuff that isn't some gimmick.
I just finished Area X in Rez. OMG, I want a full Rez 2 like that!
I'm not too impressed with Harmonix Music VR so far. There's the psychedelic caleidoscope visualizer, the dull island visualizer, the simplistic "pose a doll" dance thing, and then the modelling that I can't try yet without two Moves. Is that what everyone is raving about?
Thumper is cool but a bit too strict on the timing for me.
Those are the games I bought so far. From the rest, Battlezone was nice and might be worth buying. Rigs was not my thing. EVE was over before I could blink. Driveclub is sort of cool. Allumette was neat but VERY brief. VR Worlds is mostly just good for the diving demo, which was my first introduction. I'm looking forward to trying the Playroom games though, they seem to have a Nintendoland vibe. And that platformer was AWESOME, I want more!
