Such a fantastic concept, I'm pretty close to backing I think. I loved those original games and its great to see new games in the same vein. That music!

Do publishers actually take note of this stuff or do they just go "Lol, who cares? We got our yearly game franchise/genre to fall back on".

Well, thank god publishers aren't involved. They'd add a bunch of unnecessary 'modern' shit that bog down and distract from what the game should be, probably not advertise it properly, and then blame the game for the failure.

Backed for the console version. I need it for XB1, as it's the only system I have four controllers for and I'll surely need them for the apparently inevitable multiplayer mode. :p

That NintendoLife interview is going to keep me from going too crazy with the kickstarter. Playtonic mentions how much they would love to partner with a publisher to make a retail disc (even a special edition of that).

I don't usually do this type of thing but this looked to good, to not back. So I bit the bullet and went for the £30 pledge. I have high hopes for this game.

It will be interesting to see where this ends up after the initial surge.

Should we be afraid of scope-creep? Or do they seem to have a firm plan on what they are making?

I've spent 10 f***ing years dreaming of a world where the talent, soul, and heart of RARE reunited to give us something new.

I am NOT about to back down now. All in. Already counting down the seconds until this game is out.
