I can't seem to find any of N's Pokemon in the desert resort. Caught scraggy my first time through, and now I'm just trying to clean up side quests before the E4, but nothing is showing up. Been looking for an hour.

They're the only level 22 Pokémon, so lead with something at the same level and use a repel.

Azurill is an odd Pokemon. 75% of them are female. Marill is half and half on gender. So there's a chance that Azurill will evolve into a male Marill. Odd I know.

I feel like, instead of babies for both, Mr. Mime and Jynx should have become a split evolution like Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan... maybe. That would actually be kinda horrific somehow.

So I'm trying to figure out how Dream World works. You have a board of Pokemon you can collect, and when you're waking up you can create a list of Pokemon to take with you. But you can't seem to return to the rainbow bridge if you've got a Pokemon on your board. And you can't add a new Pokemon unless you've got the rainbow bridge. So what's the purpose of having all those extra slots?

When you get a pokemon from the tree, you have to send it to extralink and then the bridge will appear again when you go back to dream world within 20+ hours

Yeah, that part I knew. I just couldn't figure out why you have all those slots for Pokemon to take back, when you can only actually have one at a time.

Oh well.

I have four dream world Pokemon so far. Drilbur, Wooper, Mr. Mime, and something else I can't recall.

Problem is, Mr. Mime's name is only gender-specific in the West. The issue is entirely one of localisation.

All right, finally crossed the Victory Road. So far, it has been a pretty awesome journey, however, I don't like it that they stuffed al the obligatory HM stuff in the last part of the game. To this day, I still find it incredibly annoying swapping out Pokemon every time.

They aren't too rare. I just made it to Mistralton City and so far I have N's zorua, sandile, sigilyph, darumaka, darmanitan, scraggy, boldore, and ferroseed.

I'm pretty satisfied. Given me a pretty decent challenge so far, and I'm 7 badges in. I've found myself constantly underleveled with both gym leaders and trainers which has NEVER happened to me before. Lost against both Roxie and Skyla, too.

I find all that chargestone cave ones easy, but had to run repels for the desert as explained above.

Azurill is currently the only Pokémon which does not evolve based on gender whose gender ratio does not match that of its evolved forms, being female 75% of the time while Marill and Azumarill are female only 50% of the time. Due to this, one of every three female Azurill evolve into a male Marill (whether or not this will happen is determined by the hidden personality value). It is unknown if this is an error in programming or if it was intentional to reference real-world animals that change sex under specific conditions.

Considering it's been like this for three generations, I'd say its intentional.

I actually had to consult the internet for this part because I never noticed the

overworld sprite that triggers the N cutscene since I already explored that route beforehand. So I only used the walkways afterwards and didn't see the Pokemon show up

I know how you feel. Went looking for a Drapion only to find that every potential partner wanted a Level 9 and under Reshiram/Zekrom.

I've given up with the GTS because at least 75% of all the trades I see are idiots wanting a lvl 9 Reshiram - I mean come on, it is painfully obvious they are trolling by asking for something only hackers could have.

It took me over an hour to find someone in Japan trading a Ditto for another Ditto amongst all the Reshiram requests, and then they wanted a lvl 9 or lower Ditto in exchange (which is also impossible).

I liked White more than Black 2. I will be playing Black 2 longer... There's simply a bigger world there, with more to do. But White definitely felt more fresh. And i know the stories in Pokemon games are childish nonsense, but I thought B/W did a great job mixing things up (multiple rivals, enemy team against animal abuse). B/W2 go back too the "bad guys trying to take over the world" thing.

But, they do have more content, and that's awesome. PWT and other small improvements allow them to stand tall.

Not sure what to make of the Champion's theme. It was a clusterfuck of happiness.

I just checked out the PWT bulbapedia page and apparently if you do a world leader triple battle tournament and dont lose a single pokemon you could win 18 bp. Thats insane.

Blue's Alakazam makes short work of my Poison team, and I can't even kill it thanks to the Sash. I might have to start bringing Drapion in.
