Same, this happen everytime I visit the pokespot of my nearby church, Zubats will only spawn, lol

i refuse to use more then 2 regular pokeballs on trash pokemon anything thats really common dosnt deserve more then that

Is it wrong/sad that I'm really considering buying a remote control car to strap my phone to and walk my eggs? It's hot as fuck outside. I'd even consider setting up a camera on it.

Ok, after trying this out for a bit, it seems to give slightly more accurate locations and finds many of the pokemon that pokevision misses while still finding the ones that pokevision does too:

In theory everything is stored server side so there shouldn't be any loss from a reinstall, though admittedly I haven't tried it myself yet

Cool, figured that was the case. Interesting to see, in any case - after a week or so of playing, you get a feel for what is common/rare in your area anyway but it's nice to see that comparatively.
That's actually a great idea haha. Keep us updated if you do it, because if it works well I might consider it tbh.

Thanks... Yeah, I've restarted the phone plenty. Must be on my end. Because I have no sound either now unless I plug my headphones in. All other sound from everything else goes through normally. Must be the game not liking something about my phone or something. Ha... oh well. If it starts me over, I'm only at a fresh level 13.

Get my phone, fire up the app. Lapras appears. Cp 388.
Throw berry, throw ultraball, Lapras runs away.
Don't know how to feel. At least it wasn't a high CP. Then I would be really pissed.

Yeah, it does seem to object to losing focus on my phone for too long (requiring a refresh to bring the map back sometimes) and it seems to be designed for a PC screen in terms of size rather than a phone. Hard to argue with how effective it is though

I caught a 1300 CP Lapras at my desk the other day. I didn't realize it was such a big deal.
This makes Pokevision look very poorly made in comparison

Sadly not many people using it in edinburgh right now else that "find rare pokemon (world search)" thing would be awesome :3 (it only shows pokemon that have been revealed by current scans and haven't despawned yet sadly)

i really don't get the argument for limiting Go to generation 1 only, theres a lot of good ass pokemon in that 570+ that aren't in the game yet
they aren't going to dump all of them on us in one go, it's not going to be overwhelming. you might not be familiar with those pokemon but give it time and you will be. you will even find yourself some new favourites.
anyway, its a useless discussion because niantic have pretty much confirmed that more pokemon are coming. and i doubt its going to happen for a few months so there really isnt any need to panic about hundreds of new pokemon appearing everywhere ruining your nostalgia trip.

Not sure about incense but I had a dratini spawn right on top of me when I was among 3 lured pokestops. Never saw one there before or after during the hour or two I was there though

sure you will bulbasaur spawns from 2k eggs and they give a bunch of candy when they do
not just a possibility, this is my reality around here. Here's one of the lists that has been posted to a group i'm in, I contributed some to it myself:
it's pretty awesome to plan an excursion specifically to a nest to farm something or to fill in the dex spot. I've done this 3 times so far and each was a pretty great day.
I definitely recommend searching around and trying to engage with your local community if at all possible

The trackemon filter search doesn't work for me. I continue to see every type of pokemon even when I try to filter out the stuff I have already caught.

Just got back from a solid hour of riding around the neigborhood on a bike and using jellies' tracker. First time for me really playing the game, rather than firing it up wherever I happen to be. Turns out it's pretty fun, lol.

I've been able to pin point 6 exact spawn locations for Bulbasaur near my house but they're a good one or two blocks away from each other. Close, but not as close as some other nests I've seen, and other uncommon Pokemon will take turns spawning in those spots.

While poking about I also found a map thing that, for me at least, is like a searching nuke. Basically you go to your area and if there's not already a 'location scanner' present (they show as a big pokemon trainer on the map) you just click the 'add new location' button and enter the name of your city or whatever and when it eventually gets around to plonking a location scanner there you get 10 minutes of a huuuuuuge radius in real time. The site's a bit sluggish due to high usage though but if you're not using the desktop thingy this is probably about as good as you get (though you might want to still use tracekmon to check the spawn timers on anything as they seem to be 0 on this for now )
