This might be a dumb question, but does using Insence close to a lure make it more effective?

More effective in the sense that it'll work on its own, separate from the lure. Since you'll be stationary you'll pull a Pokemon every 5 mins from the incense.

I'm only going to assume choosing whatever Pokestops exist in Pokemon Go on the countries that never had Ingress was part of the development process during its years in development. Also it's still all Google Maps.

Sometimes I see these white-pulsating round thingies on the map. What do those mean? I know the "green grass" that pop-ups are hidden Pokemon and you are able to see other people's lures ... I'm such a noob.

You only have one (infinite) incubator. More incubators you'll get by leveling, etc.

You can find incubators with limited uses in addition to the infinite one you start out with.

Does every new level requirement increase by 25k?

Getting from 29 to 30 requires 350.000 more XP (50.000 more than 28 to 29) and 39 to 40 needs 5.000.000 XP (38 to 39 3.000.000).

I swipe along the edges to scroll down because of that issue. I think what happens is that if you're swiping in the middle of the screen, you are probably touching some elements of the user interface or maybe the little map that shows up at the bottom, and that prevents it from scrolling down. It's not well designed.

Man I'm sure Venonats are a myth around here had my tracker showing 3 outlines of them and never seen one. Everyday it shows Venonat shadows but yet see one since Thursday.
