Thankfully I saw a Pikachu on the radar and went for that instead.

Its everyone, not just you. I still think they rearrange themselves according to how close they are but I'm not even sure if that is working properly.

I've had this happen to me a couple times lately, my Pokémon goes from full health to zero as the battle is loading. A pretty annoying glitch, but I always end up winning regardless.
I found a Snorlax before, it escaped my first Pokeball - then it ran away :/

Feeling pretty lucky. My first 3 Eevees all evolved into a different 'mon.

Yeah my Eevees evolved into Flareon and Vaporeon respectively; I really really want a Jolteon but knowing my luck it'll be one of the other two for SURE
Mine says "Unable to Authenticate", does that mean anything in particular or do I just have to keep waiting? (I'm not banned somehow, am I? I just signed up yesterday and I've barely played... I got a Charmander, Eevee and a Rattata)
apparently jolteon can attack faster or something?

My Vaporeon's attack speed is insance. I don't even bother using his Water Pulse attack because it isn't worth it.

Anything special I need to do to hatch eggs? Shows 2.0/2.0 but just says "Walk to hatch" when I look at details. Been like the for a day or two.

Is there no way for a business to request to become a Pokèstop? I thought I saw it the other day, but I can't find it now.
yes zubats maintain their reputation as annoying af in this game.
Electric attacks are awesome around here because there are tons of water pokemon holding Gyms. Don't have much besides my Electabuzz yet.
If you're trying to take out a gym with pokemon much stronger than you, dodging is really important. Types and being overleveled in cp can let you brute force them.

These freezes on ios are starting to annoy me. Every time i try to catch a pokemon the screen freezes. Is there a solution for this?
1 pokemon station in 1 gym = 10 coins and 500 dust

I am curious as well...
not related to ios or anything, that's just the servers. if you wait a bit before you restart, if that throw would have caught it you'll have it in your inventory.

Someone earlier suggested when that happens to let it sit for a good 5+ seconds. Essentially letting the capture finish behind the scenes. when you close the app and reopen it the Pokemon might be in your inventory. This happened a few times for me.
