Jesus christ, it's like a complete lack of common sense. They didn't do it on the N64 and they had better fecking do it on the Cube. I myself am pretty gay for Pokemon (ORIGINAL Pokemon, not Butt Brown / Leaf Mauve remakes).

I can hardly judge from those screens, but it looks poor.


Nintendo would be wise to use Ash as the main character if they were doing a full Pokémon RPG game and make it extremely different from the Colleseum RPG (ie Battle system, item system etc.).

Imagine a graphical style similar to that of Dragon Quest VIII but instead of the Toriyama characters you would have the characters from the show. Hot damn that would look nice! And yes, the main characters should definitely be Ash, Misty, Brock, Jesse, James, Meowth, and Pikachu.

I'd rather true cel-shading where like in Naruto or Wind Waker.
Those painted on cel shaded textures don't look as good because they don't react to light.

...so what is the deal with this game. The Pokémon gamers pretty much have all the 386 Pokémon (minus Celebi and Mew in America and the Japanese need Mew IIRC). I highly doubt Nintendo is making new Pokemon for this game. They put almost no effort in Colosseum... This better not be the way for us to get Mew... XD

Yeah, that is the reason they gave for not making a true Pokemon game on the N64. They see the social aspects of the game as crucial to its success.
