In my defense, it's really quite difficult to write fanfiction seriously (without being too self-aware and breaking the fourth wall), especially so when the franchise in question is so commecially geared and aimed at children.

Man, I totally remember the time I bought Crystal and I chose the girl trainer. I named her after a girl I use to fancy. It sucked when I actually didn't make it with her (didn't help that I never spoke to her, just stared at her) but anyway, I had to start all over again. This time I chose the dude.

Good choices all round.

Gold and Silver easily had the best music all round. EASILY.

Um, why didnt you get Platinum? Diamond was great and all but getting pokemon this late in the game I would have gone for FireRed or Platinum.

I finally found my copy Pokemon gold and my GBA SP and loaded the game up to see what my pokemon party was (I only remember Houndoom and Ghastly) but...

THERES NO SAVE FILE!!!!


I then found my sisters copy of Crystal...

AND THERES NO SAVE FILE!!!

I loaded up Super Mario bros deluxe for GBC and the save is fine.

I then loaded up Super Mario World for the SNES...and the save is fine.

If my SNES games still have their batteries working, why not the Pokemon games?

That pokemon one was pretty lame. Didn't keep up the EXCITE and lost alot of steam. The effectiveness is different with each person's try.
