That said, next 'gen' of Pokemon I'd rather they didn't add loads again - we've more than enough new evolutions, just add a few new legendaries for each version and maybe 10 or so all-new Pokemon, and make the rest up from existing ones.

I'm personally interested about the whole starter-following-trainer thing. Will they continue to follow after evolving? Will any other Pokémon be able to follow? In Yellow it was only Pikachu and it couldn't evolve, but that doesn't really mean anything here.

I wonder if they're just borrowing the Pokémon overworld sprites from Mysterious Dungeon.

They could announce both release dates or just glance over MD. I personally think a release date will be revealed for something like Winter. Info . . . could go either way IMO. But by the time E3 comes around we will be like a week away from Coro so it's win-win either way..

I dunno... Altaria, Skarmory, Torkoal, Octillery, Milotic, Stantler, Combusken/Blaziken, Sceptile and Forretress were all pretty cool back in Emerald.

Skarmory, Octillery, Forretress and Stantler are Second Gen pokemon.
 
This thread is huge at this point so I apologize if this has been asked a ton, but will the remakes have the Kanto region in them, too? That was one of the coolest features of Gold/Silver.

Yeah, no dual-regions would be more like a neutering than a remake, and would cause Nintendo to lose my potential dolla's.

Not that I don't agree with the sentiment, but at this point legendaries mostly exist for the sake of giving the anime something to keep making films about.

never really saw it out in a list like that. They really did go overboard. I loved it when I knew the three birds and the "final" pokemon. I had no idea with these new ones.

Yeah exactly. All of what was revealed was from sources before the leaked. The only one who mentioned it afterwards was WWRU and he listed a bunch of bullshit in his post that wasn't true.

TBH I don't really consider these legendaries. :/ Dumb move on Gamefreak classifying them like that.

And I coulda sworn Manaphy was Gen III...

Weird, I thought the same thing. Perhaps it's because the Manaphy movie took place during the Hoenn/Battle Frontier arc?

OADN, it's nice to see that Firestorm is still hating on me for info I put questions marks after. Seriously man, get a life. I wasn't confirming any of that.

You've now removed information you know to be false. Great. Why did you post it in the first place? And this time I am calling you out on your bullshit, unlike last time when I was just trying to confirm details.

btw, I see no question mark after the release date or "Kanto hinted" at. On the contrary, I see "DUH" after "kanto hinted at".

Kanto coming back is obvious imo but there's no hints whatsoever.
