There's like, no discussion - anywhere. :lol

It was discussed so much that people tired of it, did what I mentioned earlier, and the thread was locked.

Well, I couldn't find any of that stuff in that clusterfuck of a thread. :lol

1. Sure, why not.Andrex said:I was thinking about the Pokewalker after the other thread was locked. Three points:
1. Black and White need to be compatible with the Pokewalker
2. The Pokewalker 2 should be bundled with it
3. The Pokewalker 2 should have the full battle system and wireless battles
It holds a good amount of information already. The teams of the people you connect with are saved into it and transferred to your DS when you put your Pokemon back in. You can then battle the AI in your DS. The only things it would need to add is the Pokemath you talk about. All the other information is in there already.Doorman said:3. Oh hell no. It's kind of a neat idea, my concern would be the cost incurred to make a tiny wireless device capable of holding all the pokemon data, attack parameters and pokemath needed to support the full battle system. Not only does that somewhat negate your first suggestion, but it feels a little redundant to give everyone a handheld battling system when that's already what the DS is.
Salaadin said:Personally, Id like to see the Pokewalker 2 get more pedometer features. Distance tracking, stopwatch, etc.
I think the Pokemon item finding and battling system it uses currently is fine for what it is other than our pokemon not learning moves while in it or not levelling up until returning from a stroll for that matter. I think they can help alleviate some of the higher level grinding by letting us level up with the Pokewalker several times a day without having to connect to our DS's.
Hex said:But then all people will need to do is put a pokemon of choice in there, use their pokewalker cheat method of choice and level with no work or effort.
No.
Far too easy to cheat and abuse that kind of system.
If you want that, leave a Pokemon in the daycare.

Good times... although I wasn't a member then.Regulus Tera said:That's nothing compared to the Dojo! thread.

One one hand, you learn skills in th Day Care. On the other, you don't need your DS on to be earn levels.
That would probably be a good idea with the way they keep adding pr/evolutions to existing pokemon, although something still tells me that they won't do it. I guess that's just my pessimism talking.Jet Grind Radio! said:I want a NEW National Pokédex. Since I just got it in HGSS, it's hard to see what evolves into what, or from.
Lindsay said:Guys only remakes get gadgets cause they need ta lure people in with a gimmick to rebuy an old game.
Fr/Lg: Wireless Adapter
Hg/Ss: Pokéwalker
R/S remakes: ???
B/W won't have any additional thing like that for sures.
ivysaur12 said:Considering that the DS has Wi-Fi capabilities, there was no need for a wireless adapter.
perfectchaos007 said:I sure hope gamefreak re-draws all of the sprites at a higher resolution. In HG/GS the pictures taken with you and your pokemon were fugly because it was just the low res sprites zoomed in. I hope they up the resolution on the sprites in this game.
Affeinvasion said:That's why it was a gimmick? You could make the same future argument (although it would not be true) that the 3DS has a pedometer so you don't need the pokewalker. How are we supposed to tell the future. For its time FR/LG wireless was sweet.

They're still early shots, stuff like this will probably be fixed closer to release.Dogenzaka said:They can't even do shadows right. Zoroark's foot isn't attached to its own shadow :l

But it's all still so blocky and HIDEOS DS 3D. It's a big case of OH GOD N64/PS1 ERA 3D DO NOT WANT.swerve said:Maybe he's moving faster than the speed of light?
Seriously though, those screen have got me so excited for the launch of 3DS now, knowing that I am going to pop that cart in there and find everything suddenly, magically flying away into the distance on my previously 2D game.
That city shot, especially (but even the bg in the battle scene is a dead give-away).
