Yeah the trainers actually look pretty cool. I wonder what they'll do with them on the cartoon? Hopefully they'll give Ash a break from doin' the same thing over and over and let these guys star in the show.

Also, the designs for the trainers look pretty good(espcially the girl with the big hair). The starter designs aren't very impressive on their own, but hold a lot of promise for their last evolutions.

I'm thinking I might go with the water starter, but I might pick the fire starter if I hear good things about him.

Also while I think boys with long hair look dumb the guy trainer doesn't look bad at all.
 
Thinking more about the game, I'm starting to become really hyped. I mean, I really like the trainers, I reeeally like that pig Pokemon, the city looks really cool, the areas outside the city look better than previous gen, and if Game Freak knows what they're doing, they can work with the whole black/white premise and the older trainers and make the story or elements in the story better than past Pokemon games.

(Not that I play Pokemon for the story or anything, but a more interesting story is always a plus.)

Also, I'm probably the only one who doesn't like the grass Pokemon because he looks so smug. :lol Oh well. At least I'll have Fire!

To be honest, I'm more surprised it took so long! Especially with many saying the girl's so hot or whatever.

You're not the only one. I fully expect it to be a pretentious douche by it's final evolution, but that is just part of it's appeal to most.
