Pokemon sequel is under development for DS

Zoarark is lamer than Lucario because he has long hair and makeup. That'll probably knock some cool points off, it has for me.

No, Houndoom is not manly. Houndoom is a pokemon designed specifically to appeal to little boys in the west who conflate rebelliousness with being cool. As Houndoom is so obviously based on western images of devils and hellhounds, this makes her seem subversive and rebellious (and thus, cool) to little boys growing up in an environment where conservative and religious grown-ups are the norm.

Sorry guys, Houndoom wasn't designed with you in mind.

Its supposed to be more feminine then Lucario . . . thats what I'm assuming seeing as the star Zoroark is a mother in the upcoming movie and I believe theres a reason behind that. :/

I'm not saying it's wrong to like Houndoom. I'm just saying he's the gtaguyemokratosgothdantelinkinparkdudebro of Pokemon. There's nothing at all wrong with that. We all went through that phase.
What the hell.

Zoroark clearly resemble a Kitsune which has these features in it is folklore, and I like Pokemon for this, it has the "this is the pokemon version of a cat/mouse/phoenix/bell" It makes you look forward to what kind of creature they will alternate next!

Of what, the Mother part?

In one of the latest trailers for the movie its revealed that the lil fox can talk and it calls Zoroark "Ma".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlLp8zGJG8E
(Fun part, he yells "Maaa!!!" and Zoroark pulls the "I gotta do something now!" eye expression)

The movie event Zoroark that you get from getting the even legendary beast at the movie is also Female from the game info we have seen.

I mean damn, it has breast shaped fur on it's chest, red lipstick and eye liner . . . big ass ponytail and everything. :/

Ha, Adult Swim just dissed Digimon on national TV. Score one for Pokefans.

Ah, that explains why it looks lame. Maybe the male version will look cooler.
Don't ban me Dragona.

A pokemon animator posted a little update about the Black and White anime, translation taken from serebii forum:

Finally, filming Pokemon has begun!

It was 3 episodes of new series, but it looks like heroine isn't the main girl from game.

I went "Huh!?" when I saw the character chart last time, but it really looks like heroine is original child (Anime-only character).
It appears that Takeshi isn't in it, and new rival character who is similar to Shinji is in it too.

By the way, heroine is cute but amazing... Her hair style pretty.

Lame - they're not risking for new characters. =/

That means they acknowledge Digimon's existence :P

I actually think this is pretty true, to be honest. :[

I don't think I would have put it so... blunt.

Pfft, the only thing that makes Manectric not 100% definitely a dog is that mane, but that doesn't stop it from being a dog. Its a dog. Or not, whatever, its awesome, I don't care.
