Polarium (NDS) = $14.99 @ ebgames.com

Polarium mixes way-cool gameplay with an electronica soundtrack for the trippiest experience yet on the DS. It's the first game that would look cool at a rave.

haha, what the hell.

Welp, time to pick it up.

And I know this has probably been asked before, but does anyone know the real reason why it's more used?

They want to get rid of the "new" stock

That's the press release. They obviously weren't aware of Lumines, heh.

Incredible deal. IMO, the game was worth $29.99 when it first came out. I know its puzzle mode is finite in length, and the challenge mode's lasting appeal depends on your addiction to puzzlers, but I got close to 30 hours of play from the game. A dollar an hour = Worth it, at least to me.

I'd love to see the update come to the states.

I thought the game was limited - the puzzles too easy, and after a while they're all the same. The challenge mode, while engaging for a while, doesn't have the lasting appeal, seeing as it's notoriously unforgiving, and uses set-pieces, so becomes a memorising game more than anything.

However, I just played the multiplayer mode for the first time the other day, and it's pretty awesome. It's as different formt eh other two modes again. Basically, you send over completed lines to your opponent, and the game ends when a player manages to send all of tehm to the other. So it's arace to send lines back and forth - you see the ooponents screen, so you can see exactly how fast and big a set they're sending over. Pretty neat.

I thought the challenge mode was total garbage, but the puzzle mode was great. I hope the budget pricing will lead to more people making custom puzzles -- it's a lot of fun trading 'em.

I forget: this game supports single-card multiplay, right?

Edit: it should have been $15 to start with.

Ummm I tried adding Pokemon Blue pre-played and then the coupon code and it said I didn't qualify for it. bah! ~_~

Perhaps they fixed it so that it won't work if there is a new game now. Oh well, bite the bullet and pay the shipping.
