Bane was better.
Anyone hear about all these talk of "battleground states" and "deploying campaign generals" and "ground game" and think...jeez....this would make an awesome RTS.

Because I think it could really work.

What Palin/McCain supporters really think of Barack.

From the video tags it looks like this was in Ohio.

How in the hell can these people even live with themselves?? Then again, one conservative site that I happen to visit (which there are probably only 3 of us that are supporting Obama) sounds just like those people -- but on a forum.

See, that's what I'm talking about. This is just beautiful.

A plan like this is objectively positive. I challenge anyone - McCain supporter, Hillaryis44 member, undecided, anyone at all - to read and understand the plan you just posted and come away with a negative opinion.

I've tried to some Republicans I know at the conservative site I referenced above, but they don't listen. Hell, they can't even be bothered to talk about the issues. It's all Obama hate and Obama stereotypes along with "he has no plan!".....but when you point it out to them.... somehow "he still has no plan!" "Socialist!", etc..... They also think Palin is a brilliant choice and George Bush is one of the best presidents we've ever had. Go figure.

Hmmm...

I can't be the only one here watching McCain/Palin interview with Hannity.

I know... nauseating, and it makes me wanto punch Colmes in the face. He DID shut Newt up with the Alaska secessionist thing, and Reagan's ambassador giving money to Ayers.

Watching Hannity on election night will be the highlight of this past year-and-a-half for me.

I am starting to miss the days when people like this just went around calling people n****, putting on white hoods and burning crosses my people's front on lawns. A least them their racism as out in the open. Now in Baracks case, the word n**** and coon has been replaced with Terrorist.

I would have a lot more respect for these people if they just came out and admitted that they don't want a black man as president.

THANK YOU. Obviously we really don't want that, but I'm so sick of this backhanded racism. There are valid reasons for not wanting to vote for Obama. If your political ideology forbids you from casting a vote for him, more power to you. If you think Obama isn't the kind of leader the US needs right now, well you're more than welcome to that opinion. But this "Who is the real Obama?" bullshit is purely racist. The man is US Senator who has personally written books! He has a website! Do some research!

What more do these people want to know? I keep hearing "Obama isn't being straight with us." Straight about what?! Just come out and say it. He has a strange name that frightens your xenophobic world. Stop being politically correct and man up to it.

This election has changed me. I've always ranged from indifferent to respectful in relation to conflicting political views of others, but in this election when ever someone tells me they're supporting McCain they might as well have told me that they skin puppies alive and consume there feces for sustenance. I look at them with a mix of anger, confusion, disgust, and pity. I then contemplate asking for details but instantly realize that I would only be opening a door to more anger, confusion, disgust, and pity, so I shouldn't even waste my time. And from that point on I'm never able to look at them the same way, or take them seriously about anything ever again.

lol. I sympathize. Even though it's not rational there is a part of me that can understand. Not so much for just casual people or people who decide to vote Republican based on a general theory of government. I can understand that. But when people sort of get nasty or start flinging dirt that indeed makes me very angry which was something that I could always easily shrug off before. Then again I had very good friends who decided to vote for Geroge Bush in 2004. I didn't even vote in that election for the first time ever because I was pissed off with both parties so I understand apathy but people who eagerly went to vote for Bush in 2004 also befuddle/horrify me.

I think part of the problem is that after 8 years of horror it is unfathomable to me for people to vote Republican this go around. They simply deserve to be punished for their incompetence and regroup on parts of their ideology. And then I'll be able to understand people who eagerly want to vote Republican in 4 or 8 years. Childish I know but that's the way I look at it.

DAMN! Obama's fucking cool as heeeeellll. There's no fucking way you'd ever hear any politician saying those words in public, on purpose, specifically to put them on tape.

I think more than what he says (he is quoting somebody else) is his delivery. His delivery is fucking spectacular. I definitely have to go snag his audio book.

Willful ignorance. Do they not want to be proven wrong, or do they just not care?

I suppose potentially agreeing with a black Democrat could create a rift in the space-time continuum for some of these people, so there's that angle too.

Regardless, so fucking sad. Keep fighting the good fight, man.

Just for the sake of saying it.

Could you imagine if Obama picked Hillary?

The election would have been over that day. Hillary would have turned Arkansas, Florida, Ohio, and Penn Solid blue and there would have been no chance for McCain to catch up.

I think that most of the time, these are 1 issue voters. Mainly abortion. But occasionally it will be something else like guns.

Obama actually has a comprehensive national service plan; McCain does not.

One of the more surprising elements of the candidates, IMO.

I love Obama's call to expand AmeriCorps by more than triple. I most sincerely hope he follows through.

To be fair, McCain does have a decent idea on national service, although he does get the Corporation for National and Community Service's name wrong.

It's the official line, okay!

It's not childish at all. If the grounding ideology of a party starts to fall out from under them (i.e the Republican party) due to failures in enacted policy this is what should happen.

The fact that John McCain (long seen as an anti-establishment politician and rightfully so IMO) was chosen as the Republican candidate for president proves that the Republican party as we know it is dying. Its leadership is confused and misdirected (just look at McCain's campaign); and the long held unifying political ideology of the republicans: smaller government, less taxes, large military budgets, and less emphasis on social programs has lost its focus. The Republican party deserves to be displaced from power, so it's not childish at all to feel the way you do.

Yeah, even if that's spliced together that is still fucking awesome.

Well...I know what I'm listening to tomorrow :)

That wasn't Obama's voice was it? It sounded like it near the beginning and in some parts throughout, but there were some parts where it sounded nothing like him.

Edit: I stand corrected. I didn't know he put out an audio version of his book and it had that quote in it.

Wow, hasn't Franken been behind the whole race? What's behind this sudden surge from behind?

I hope he wins, if only to see the look on O'Reilly's face.
