Obama just pulled a Bush.

"I don't want to count my chickens before I hatch... they hatch? I hatch?"

Game over.... election kaput.

Hatch-gate is born.

Goddamn that brush-off is the shit. I'm heading back to the old 'hood today to hangout with those hoodlum friends of mine (apologies to Stevie!) and can't wait to show that clip.

It's enough to convert any one of them still pining for the Clinton 90's.

Hmm. I think Hillary's false facts were worse than Obama's for this debate
Well, Obama's inaccuracies weren't about policy issues, so it's hard to argue with you. Still, Obama was inaccurate about things he said or did, which unlike for Hillary's points, you can't say is due to being given bad information.

Fucking kick ass statement from the crowd chick!

Something to the effect of:

"Both myself and my husband are practicing Christians and gun owners, and we are NOT bitter...about your statement. But we ARE bitter...about the way the press is spinning your statement."

Each time she hit the word of emphasis, I thought she was about to beat down Barack. :lol

We're focusing on questionnaires, face scratching, and a guy who obama was associated with when he was 8 years old.

Jesus fucking christ.

If only you were so nitpicky when it came to bush and all of the shit he has done.

"What are you going to do to prevent drugs from coming into the country?"

What the hell?! Is it possible that any presidential candidate preps for this question?

Came out of left field for me...but here's Obama...talking up an answer.

Do you think Hillary's sharp attacks against Obama helps the Democrats' enemies? Does it make you question her Democratism? Do you think she should shut up and sing [the praises of Great Leader]?

Silly, I know.

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.
The senior partner at the firm I worked for last summer is a add on superdelegate who just announced for Hillary :(

So you think even when you have serious issues with another person's candidacy, you should try to be civil and clean in your attacks against them? Especially when you're supposedly on the same side? :)

it isn't??

they sure played it like it was
Born down in a dead man's town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
You end up like a dog that's been beat too much
'Til you spend half your life just covering up

[chorus:]
Born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A.

I got in a little hometown jam
And so they put a rifle in my hands
Sent me off to Vietnam
To go and kill the yellow man

[chorus]

Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man says "Son if it was up to me"
I go down to see the V.A. man
He said "Son don't you understand"

[chorus]

I had a buddy at Khe Sahn
Fighting off the Viet Cong
They're still there, he's all gone
He had a little girl in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms

Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years down the road
Nowhere to run, ain't got nowhere to go

I'm a long gone Daddy in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A.
I'm a cool rocking Daddy in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A.

It's a pretty dark and tough song.

APF, despite all the hate you get in this topic I still think you are one of the smartest people in this topic when it comes to getting politics. Soooo as of today how do you see the general elections final tally turning out roughly?

Honestly I'm I'm more of a news reader and not the sort of number crunchers posters like yourself are, so I don't think my answer will satisfy you. I do see Obama winning this contest, then winning the GE pretty decisively however.

hey APF, since you're getting your balls polished by Cheebs while fighting 15 different posters, mind rubbing some of your smarts off on him?

I for a while thought Reagan like numbers were possible for him in the general. I am not so sure now. I say Bush '88 is more in line.
