Just great, Hillary. Thanks for taking the time to endorse McCain. The RNC appreciates it.

Yes, I know that I'm linking to a hardcore Hillary blog but still, that's a lot of information. I'm worried. There's even a picture that puts her there with Farrakhan.
hillbuzz said:The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women's Event.
...so it's really not that old, and not to mention, a lot of people probably have it should it exist. Why isn't it up on youtube by now? Why didn't the Clintons get someone to leak it to the press? Because it probably doesn't exist.hillbuzz said:The "tape" is a DVD that Trinity United sold on its website, and possibly offered free for download up until March 2008 when Trinity's site was scrubbed and the DVDs were no longer offered for sale.
This outburst happened just one month before the 2004 Democratic Convention, when Barack Obama delivered the keynote address.

Well, the media has crowned Obama as the nominee, so it doesn't really matter if she doesn't concede. Well . . . it does matter in that she is needed to unify the party but she is not going to become the nominee.JzeroT1437 said:So did Hillary actually concede yet?

Also, why the hell wouldn't this have been used against him by Alan Keyes in his Senate race? This doesn't add up. I'm calling bullshit.

Bah, edited this out of my previous post because I got my dates wrong, but indeed, Alan Keyes could have used this video (and if he was a smart man, and it existed, WOULD HAVE) against the Obamas in 2004. Youtube did not exist yet, other video sites did, and likely would have been uploaded by rabid GOP supporters to those sites. Hell, Keyes wouldn't have even needed to know it existed for someone else to get it out there -- video site, blog, leak to the press, whatever.sangreal said:Yeah. Also, I did a lot of searching on LexisNexis and that photo is pretty much the only thing that ties Michelle Obama and Ms. Farrakhan together. There is no evidence that either spoke at the convention.
Also, Larry Johnson is still saying its Louis Farrakhan, not Mrs. Farrakhan that Michelle is on video with, and there is no evidence that he was at this conference at all

I really wanna watch it!
It's been looped in CNN a number of times today. I think it's from the New York rally.DrForester said:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODaxZSz3Awg
EIDT: OK apparently that isn't the video that quote is from, just watched through it again. I don't know where that quote came from then, sorry.
Was gonna say that if it is from the WV stuff then it is an old quote. If this is new...then I want to see it.typhonsentra said:It's been looped in CNN a number of times today. I think it's from the New York rally.

Yeah, it pisses me off too.

camineet said:BTW, Ronald Reagan was absolutely FORCED to have George H. W. Bush as his VP in 1980. Reagan did not want Bush at all, Reagan disliked Bush and Nancy couldn't STAND him. Reagan vowed that no member of a secret society (Bush = Skull & Bones) would be on his ticket. They twisted Reagan's arm, and at the 1980 RNC, Reagan "welcomed" Bush as his VP. In March 1981, just 69 days into his presidency, there was an attempt on Reagan's life. Bush Sr was SO close to becoming President 8 years early. I wonder sometimes what Nancy Reagan thinks about that, and about Bush Sr. I think deep down, she hates his guts.
I worry about Obama. Do I think the Clintons are capable of doing to Obama what many suspect Bush almost did to Reagan? Yes.
