Being part of the first world is recognising that quality is not all about money.
They are, but the UK was the first to accept them because of our progressive non-discriminatory tastes and society and they refer to London as their 'second home'. At the gig they were telling us about their favourite restaraunts in the area.

* Nicki's Pound The Alarm is finally picking up airplay. She had the biggest update today and yesterday. Still nowhere to be seen on the itunes 100. This will change once the video drops.
* The battle for next week's #1 is between Katy and Carly. It's looking like a 50/50 tbh. Katy had the digital sales lead until yesterday and Carly still has a lead over radio.
* Demi Lovato's Give Your Heart A Break is proving to be a major slow burner. It reminds of Selena Gomez's Love You Like a Love Song, which took like 6 months for it to smash. A similar situation might happen with Kelly's Dark Side, which is holding up steady on itunes AND radio.

Lana Del Rey covering Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box" at her show in Sydney last night. She did a good job imo.
