+ There's not much to report here. Next week's battle for #1 is still between Carly & Katy. It'll be a couple of weeks til' a new player enter the battle for #1 as potential contenders like Florida, P!nk and Fun are not so far ahead in airplay to matter.
+ Ellie Goulding could totally net the #1 if her digital sales increased to the TOP 3. She needs to promote somewhere high profile in the US, tho with her upcoming album and single, she'll probably just focus on Europe.

TBH if Carly continues to drop with 2M updates and Katy continues to rise with 1.5M updates, Katy might get a #1. Im saying might because she's actually going down on digital sales.
August and September are perfect months for new releases to start slaying the fall.
