If Ninja Turtles got a sequel, I feel confident this will as well!
Would be best of Jason David Frank had some sort of role in this movie, not as a ranger but as someone connected to the past rangers in some way.

Power ranger fans are not in their 40s, they're around my age, 27. 90s todlers/kids.
This film will probably be terrible, but I'm in.
The first movie did $500 million, the second movie ... not so much.
I could see this doing some good numbers because of nostalgia and novelty, just like the Ninja Turtles.
Then they make a sequel and it bombs because the things that pushed the first movie are no longer there, just like Ninja Turtles.

It seems rather awful. The tone could be better and the enemies are bad. I don't like disposable CG creatures with busy designs. Plus why is Goldar a colossus made of actual gold? Pure gold is really soft.
I'll probably end up seeing this anyway, but yeah. The teaser looked decent. This trailer looked dumb.

31 here. Remember the first day the first episode aired. Remember watching it every morning before school and always being mad I had to leave right when they formed into megazord (which happened at the exact same time marker in every episode it seems)

As a kid I wasn't super into power rangers. Watched a few episodes at my friend's house but overall I was pretty meh on it. Did have a crush on Kimberly though so it wasn't all bad.

Looks like it could be fun. the effects for the suits and stuff are a bit off though. Everything appears too pristine and glossy, sticks out like a sore thumb and appears out of place in some shots. although perhaps that's what they were going for.

Considering the shows are actually pretty shit and cringy(and this is coming from a huge Rangers fan from the 90s), I welcome this new modern take on it. It looks awesome.
I'm blowing through my Power Rangers boxset right now. I'm at Turbo, exactly at the point where I initially bailed on the show, right when the cast all got replaced.
It's followed episodes where the Rangers were shrunk and turning into insects, an episode where Kat battles anorexia and becomes so light she floats away, and an episode where a robot racer hero is brainwashed into an evil dishwasher.
... Let's just say the nostalgia goggles were very powerful. This at least looks as cheesy and good-bad as anything I remember seeing.

I'm pretty hyped if only for the more epic effects and bayformer explosions that you can't get in the show. Maybe throw in a little blood since its supposed to be a bit more violent.
The Megazoids look like Bay Transformers but thats not exactly a bad thing.
Zordan looks awesome and I'm really liking the Power suits. Alpha wasn't nightmare fuel as I was expecting. The team chemistry is there too so thats good.
I pray that a battlizer appears. Would be so epic.

Everything looks smaller and less impressive than I expected. The Zords look tiny, the monsters don't look numerous, the suits seem clunky, the town is miniscule, the dialogue was repetitive, the effects looked cheap; only cool part was Zordon. Some of the jokes were good though.

The designs of the big stuff at the end looked neat. Everything else, including choice of music? Garbage.
The change in music only saved the last few seconds of the trailer. The rest aka when the characters are talking are still awful. But yeah, the song change helps a bit.
Yeah, muted colours. Going for a slightly gritty take on it. Should have just gone balls to the wall colour and had terrible costumes for all, including the bad guys. Should have been made like the TV show. This just seems like Transformers with some different characters.
