I just prayed and he has confirmed it.
Very short range, slow reloading, and only staggering with low level poise should cripple it easily. I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

Nope, not until Snowden confirms it.
If the mechanics are similar enough to the other Souls titles, then I doubt it would be a single slotted weapon. No other weapons operate like that.

Other thing i had in mind about the shotgun, to make it not being over-use, would be to limit the ammunition, either drops being uncommon, or if you can buy from vendor, make em a bit expensive.
But i am just speculating, it can be a very different game from the Souls series.We just have to think at Soul Sacrifice.

I'm not sure I can think of one. Seems like an odd thing to even notice. lol
If characters in Dark Souls can withstand multiple direct body stabs and slashes from magic greatswords, I'm sure it'll be alright to introduce some early-ass firearms. We already have projectile magic to deal with! Albeit magic is much slower than bullets, but they're prolly more powerful.

Well, here is how i feel about it. I dont mind it, but seeing a firearm in a fantasy like game (IF this game is one ) remove the taste of being a fantasy game.
BUT.
After looking closely at the 4 gifs again, i am now more thinking of a game that will be in a Cthulu-ish environment . The boss presented look like Cthulu himself! So im thinking its a game set in a fantastic world or something.
