if the original leaker is right about Japan Studio co-developing, then it's Sony exclusive.
Leaker specifies Sony Japan Studio's involvement, Sony employees and insiders on GAF have been subtlety hinting at the game for about 6 months.

I'm the same way. I find it hard to dedicate significant amounts of time to a single game, but I always end up addicted to Souls games. DO IT.

LIST OF TOTES CONTROLLED LEAKS (which all coincidentally happened in the first half of 2014 only after a big leak):
-A person randomly leaks two years of Microsoft lineup and hardware info, including confidential details from third party publishers who would be angry if they knew it was deliberate, some of it turning out somewhat incorrect in the end but clearly things that a MS employee would know about or have seen, including things embarrassing or possibly damaging for the company like proving Phil Spencer lying about Black Tusk's new IP or a possible price dropped XBO model without a disk drive. A day later an outlet reports that Microsoft is seriously angry and will press charges if they find the leaker.
-Rough looking unfinished screens of Assassins' Creed 2K14 are leaked, as well as details about AC: Less Money Edition. Ubisoft officially announces it like a day later as a "welp no option now."
-Compressed screencaps of some kind of video stream showing Project Beast, and then later clips from that video are produced, 2 weeks before it would have been revealed as a big surprise at E3. Sony people are bummed.
-The trailer for COD2K14 leaks because Destructoid gets it a few hours early or something and then they post it.
-Everything about Battlefield 2K14 leaks because Battlelog is easy to mine and EA has to officially announce it along with a "first reveal at E3!" tease. Then a rough internal video of an alpha including untextured guns and project codenames is leaked and Visceral people are bummed.
All of these are controlled leaks because of reasons. I've probably even missed some.

The same thing happened last time, I believe. Aha.
I just find it hard to believe that they would release a trailer and announce the game presumably at E3 with just the project name. The other theory I read was along the lines of a controlled leak and that is why the leaker still refers to it under the project name.
I think that is my problem, presuming too much.

Nah, why would Sony be pissed? Look at all the attention it's generating, it's puts the spotlight on them and builds up the hype heading towards E3.

Holy moly that looks awesome. I love Demon's Souls, so hopefully this is a true sequel to that, with a new name for IP reasons.
Dark Souls is great as well, but I just really like the Demon's Souls world more. Those clips are a glorious tease, though. Looking forward to learn more about it.

This is awesome, so the world might be mended.
When the pics initially leaked a few weeks back, people officially knew of the game's existence, but only a few people (including a mod or two) knew about this game's back around late last year. It was on the leaker highway. There's other things, but I don't want to say anything inaccurate.
Anyway, I heard this was one of the megatons, and I know Shu himself is a huge fan of this franchise. Heads must be spinning if this got leaked. I imagine whoever did this has the rest of the trailer as well.
