It sounds exactly like you're "pulling rank." I really hate the attitude some people have that long term members have more to offer or are more important than juniors. Not every junior just signed up yesterday. Many posters are juniors because they don't have time to post on Neogaf every second of the day. Or, in my case have been browsing the site for years but didn't actually bother to sign up.

Yeah, this. I saw some guy post his first post here in the steam giveaway thread, giving away a steam key for a fairly recent (aka high price) game, only for the response to be "hell of a first post, Junior". Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the measures gaf takes to try and make the forum a better place (i.e. user verification and no thread starting privileges to begin with), but I don't take kindly to being addressed as "junior". Nor do I particularly like the high and mighty attitude a few have towards us.
And you've never seen any stupid posts from regular members? I've seen countless, and I'm new here.

These are people that just don't care if they get a ban or not. If you notice, most that do this have under 100 posts. They're not time invested. Then you have the people that are used to commenting on forums like gamefaqs and IGN, and they come here and don't realize they're not going to be able to get away with personal attacks and trolling.
Then there is E3, which seems to bring out the worst in some gamers, they just can't resist the opportunity to get in a jab to get a rise out of people or validate being a fanperson, because console wars.
I see far more juniors having relevant discussions and contributions than I do seeing them leaving troll posts. A lot of times I see them being better contributors than the members that, for example, regularly do things like sarcastic posts designed to confuse people and derail the discussion. Remember we were all Juniors at one point.

Slightly OT, but were STR builds okay in DS? I can't really remember, my character was a Royal mish-mash, as it obviously being my first souls game I just done what I wanted lol.

I'm cool with the art style however I'm replaying threw demons atm and would have loved to see an updated version of the art style they used for that game.
