Damn, GAF truly does have a defence force for everything.
Tbh I feel like americans dont particularly get british humour. They seem to get offended by anything we do. Most of our comedy is shock comedy. The most successful comedy movie here last year was the intbetweeners and that show would be banned if it was shown in the US.
Getting caught out on abuse of the copyright reporting system on Youtube should result in an instant ban of your own account. There needs to be accountability on both sides.
I am live in UK and those kind of behaviour is not appropriate. Even as a joke.
You're right, I'll just go out and do a prank on a random person by killing him. OMG, it's going to be so much fun! Everyone is going to laugh! LOLOLOLOL!
Tbh for better or worse this is how the culture of teenage to young adult humour is like in the UK. These are the jokes that we pull on each other. Its probably wrong but the truth is 90% of people between of ages of 13-25 will look at this video and find nothing wrong with it.
In fact most will look at that video and think KSI is great because he has the balls to pull such pranks.

yes because killing and making jokes are the same thing..............
why do people always have to take it to the extreme.

Im not defending anyone just explaining the culture of where these jokes come from and why it would create a huge audience as seen by KSI's subscribers.
Doesnt mean he isnt a prick just that he is most likely not sexiest. To some this is shocking but to most living in the UK as I said between those age groups. This really isnt anything at all, this is the humour Ive definitely grown up around ( I got called alot worse than this stuff) and Im middle to upper class.
I'll be so glad when this creep no longer has the oxygen to sustain himself. With MS dropping him he will run out of work very quickly. Corporate gigs are notorious for taking 6 months and upwards to reimburse for work, he'll be relying on shilling tshirts before long.

KSI didn't do much different from what Sacha Baren Cohen does....
Well, except for being funny and understanding how comedy works to some degree.
"being funny" is subjective
I laughed at a few things in the video but not the bits that caused trouble
I didn't laugh once at anything either. He was just being a dick. The cameraman probably thought he was the coolest guy ever. What was funny about this video?
This guy is a total asshole. The only thing he did right in the whole video was the motorboat.

perhaps he is satirizing lad culture?Wait a sec, there's a huge difference between reprising a satirical role that criticizes cultural preconceptions and stereotypes and being a little shit who downright insults and harasses people in the middle of their job for youtube clicks.
he should stay the fuck out of gaming venues
don't mistake.
this kind of humors between friends? Totally acceptable if that's what makes you and your friends laugh.
doing it to a not consensual stranger who is also working at that moment?that's not acceptable, like,at all.
I'm from Scotland, we birthed frankie boyle ffs, implying that there is a culture of these jokes in Britain is horseshit when there are no jokes to be found in anthing ksi does. Every quality that a genuinely funny person requires, he does not have, except maybe the balls to be an arsehole. The people he targets with his "jokes" are not his friends, they're random people he doesn't know. He has no right to make people uncomfortable, to imply they have no breasts, to ask them how much it would cost to get his dick sucked and to push his mic into some girls boobs. I've got no problem taking the piss out of my mates and my girlfriend, i've got a very colourful vocabulary when it comes to taking the piss but at least i fucking show respect for them.
They are consenting. KSI has to get them to sign a release to appear in his video. As I said one of my friends is also a big youtuber and he does these "prank" videos often and he has to get the people's consent to show the video.
Anyway it just seems a bit weird to jump on the bandwagon since everyone here im sure has pulled a joke or prank/bullied on someone they know or dont know.
There must be some jokes to be found because those 4 million + subscribers must come from somewhere.
Anyway found this video on frankie boyle and to me the stuff he says in this are about a million times worse than the stuff ksi has done in his videos.
Making jokes about people's death is far worse than motor boating a girl.
Im sure you've laughed at his jokes a million times. this isnt showing respect to anyone. The truth is that there are millions of comedians out there who make jokes like these and you guys still laugh.Eddie murphy back in the day was on another level to this stuff. Im sorry but there are alot of hypocrites in these kinds of discussions. As I said KSI has to get consent to post the videos anyway.

time for a high profile wake up call.

Strange how EA are quiet through this, you'd think they would have yanked that right away. Misogynistic, racist, homophobic...he's a real cocktail of shit. That other youtuber Tobiias too, how are these guys being allowed to be the faces of a brand like Fifa?
The guy is fucking asshole. Like, never seen a bigger knob than him before. Fuck him. I really wish him all the worst.
''What is your favourite STD?''
Fuck him alright.

Sony now have questions to answer.
How did this dickhead who has no relevance in the industry get a European PS4 a week early? And I bet he didn't pay for one too.
I write for one of the more popular FIFA blogs, so decided to write about this whole debacle and what it says about the culture in the FIFA community (here).
There is nothing admirable about harassing an already harassed group of people.
We recently published a video regarding the issue of corporate responsibility in relation to companies hiring YouTube stars to promote their products or services. The original video was removed from YouTube due to a copyright claim by KSIOlajidebt, but subsequently replaced with an alternative version that didnt make use of this channels footage.
We have since submitted a counter-claim to have this copyright strike removed, citing both Fair Use under US law and Fair Dealing in the UK. We believe that the video - which was not monetised - was made with the purpose of educating people on a matter of public interest. We believe that the subsequent coverage and reactions to the piece fully support this.
As many of you will know, we originally planned to publish a follow-up piece today - detailing the events that followed our piece, and other developments that have since arisen.
This update is being postponed, for reasons we can't go into yet.
We're taking legal advice, we're confident of our position and we'll defend it strongly. We'll have a further update for you in due course.
One point which should be clarified immediately, however, is in regard to the comment I made at 2:45 saying that people who are rude to staff in restaurants should "probably be killed". While intended as nothing more than a flippant joke, we agree that such humour was a poor tonal fit for a serious video such as this, and are saddened to hear that a small percentage of viewers have misheard or misinterpreted this joke to be a direct threat aimed at KSI.
Thank you for your patience and support,
Matt Lees & the VideoGamer.com team
