I checked all of their links, they are all on a sale except for Mafia and it's showing full price.

I think I prefer the dynamic pricing system on PC with its official stores and semi legal key shops ... Dynamic pricing in a walled garden online store is beyond the pale.
 
Unless they can show there is an increased or decreased costs associated with the pricing between regions, they can frak right off. At least it looks like prices are discounted instead of increased at this time. I guess that is all about perspective.

No. I used to be that way until I found I would have games still shrink wrapped that hit discounts. These days, I base things on where I find the value. If I do not find $70-$80 worth of value in a game, I will wait until the price drops to where I think it balances out. On the other hand, if I see a game that I think it is worth it to pay more than those prices, I will buy it.

I dunno if its this what affects the price in my country, but theres some absurd bizzarre prices here in Brazil that ranges from 500 to 1000 BRL(for a game). Just so you get the idea, Nintendo games despite being pricey are 50% to 70% less expansive than those.
Hopefully the government here notice that patern and start giving some deadly fine to them.

Hopefully this is easy enough to track and display on sites like PSPrices even if that's more hopes to jump through for an optimal shopping experience. Upwards of 17.6% is kind of nuts and this is just going to prolong the amount of time that games sit on my wishlist.

Man, regional prices are life savers in Brazil, a single 70 dollar game in a country where the average family lives with less than 500us$.
 
That's not inherently bad. Many countries use the same currency (euro) but the average income is worlds apart. Though I have doubts Sony would use it to the benefit of consumers from low income countries.
 
Like it or not, the correct price for a good with no marginal production cost is always whatever the customer is willing to pay for it. 3-day early accesses, discounts over time etc is just the more analog method to achieve the same thing because of the information gap.

My PS Plus expired a few weeks ago and I didn't get any discount on the Essential plan, while lots of other people did, and that was supposed to be the case for everyone. So basically, it's not benefiting the customer who doesn't buy; it's making some people pay more.
 
Sony continues to be garbage this generation and sink Playstation further into the toilet. I hope all of their bullshit this gen bites them in the ass and causes mass exodus when PS6 gen hits. I'm definitely one of them.

Using Wendy's as an example again, the pricing can dynamically increase on surge times, like a 10 piece nugget box will cost more during lunch hours cause that's when they expect people to buy it.
