I think that should say it all for all of those who are actually complaining about it,yes it doesn't have much but is just starting,people should give it at least a year before actually flaming,who really expected sony to release Home not beta with 600 features and things this year?

People should be more flexible when it comes to this things,is on beta stage for god sake.

Give it one year?!? What the fuck did they do in those ONE AND A HALF years since home should have launched?

If I install the Namco update mentioned above on my JP account, are the features applied to the game on my EU account or do I have to play on the JP version of home to play the games and unlock the items?

That's my new video. Hopefully you can make out at the top left what's going on. There's a jump pad at the bottom of the upper staircase, with holes on the top left and bottom right of that staircase as well. Once you get in between those locations, place the three objects and you should be home free. Just keep your cursor moving so the game doesn't time out...

I just hopped on Japanese Home and wow the main area is so much better and they have better clothes too.

The Japanese don't like to dance or grief too much. Haha.

Yeah, I agree. I actually like the Japanese Home a lot better looking than the US one. You also don't have people running around screaming into their mics.

Yeah I enjoy walking around in JP Home a lot more.

EU is more boring than the US, the square is a little smaller than the one in the US and the trailers there are from movies or tv commercials. The theater in EU is also a litte more different, they have small roms for each trailer but you can't walk around once you enter them.

Other than that they'r the same.

Uk home has never not been down so I've jumped in the US home and made a ugly as sin character and yep they have fixed none of my major annoyances from the beta just added a few items.

I'll have a wander round for a bit but as in the beta my first play with it will probably be my last until they can add anything to make this hassle worth while.

Yeah. You have to play the namco games (which have their own icon in the XMB Games tab) and earn the rewards on your American PSN account, then you'll have the stuff in the American Home.

The Home they promised? Not quite. But it's definitely a start. And while there definitely need to be more critical features included (game launching, some sort of party system, etc.) the ground work is the hardest part really. The world is coming into its own and while it's definitely not what I'm looking for personally, it's enough to keep me hopeful that in the near future (pre-Killzone 2, I believe) we will see a lot of progress with Home.

Damn, I can't unlock that last item in the Galaga mini-game, the one where you have to get captured and then save it. Every time the ship turns bad and then shoots at me. Do I have to free it before it turns bad or something?

I bought that bluetooth keyboard add-on (and the headset) for the PS3 controller. It makes a HUGE difference. I'm faster with that thing than I am texting. Makes communicating in Home infinitely more enjoyable.

Yeah I thought this would be a must buy for me, as I use the PS3 browser frequently. But I think in the end I really am faster with a full sized USB keyboard and while it's somewhat clunky I don't mind it that much. I wish I could test it out though, but $50 is kinda steep.

It won't replace an actually keyboard if you're looking for the best typing experience. I like it because it really doesn't add much weight to the controller, doesn't feel awkward to use, and is sufficiently fast for communicating. Having a full-size keyboard on my lap doesn't work for me.

My guess? If you're happy (enough) with a keyboard, you would most likely regret the purchase. It's a definite step down from normal typing.

I actually had some fun in the past hour on Home just being an ass. Hell, just walking around as my Murderer Mario character seems to get some people all pissed off. I don't even have to say anything. I don't know how many times I was called "white trash" tonight, but I welcomed each insult with open arms. I just need to get a USB keyboard so I can be an ass faster. Typing with the controller is tiresome and slow.

People get so angry in the movie theatre if you're not sitting down. :lol
