It makes absolutely no sense to pre load this on every new console. This game is built around the camera and the ps4 doesn't come with a camera right out of the box.

They should've reimagined the T-Rex and Underwater Demo of the PS1. The Manta ray was the best. Soothing oceanic sounds. Imagine something like Ecco the Dolphin. Just absent mindedly swim around the riff to some calming sounds and the waves break over you.

a lot of that stuff could be done with 3D generated room that's not coming from the camera & there might be lots more that's in the play room app that might not have anything to do with the camera.

Welcome Park was fun, you ol' sticks in the mud! Don't you just like to fool around with a new system on launch day? Soak up the UI and the sounds, and just get a general feel for it all? That's all Welcome Park was, just a tiny game that acted as an extension of that Day 1 "isn't this cool" ride.

I didn't realize you can't delete it, though, I never tried. Still, consoles need more fun little details, not less.

We'll probably never know. This would also explain why we didn't see many reveals at E3. Some games may have had to been retooled once PS Eye was dropped. Hopefully a PS Eye bundle is an option after launch. I'd probably go with that.

I suggested this before and don't understand why it's not being done, they should have Planetside 2 pre-installed on the HDD since it's F2P anyways. That way they can claim they have a pack in title with their system and likely earn more sales as a result.

They can't do that because then the console itself would have a 16 rating.
