I would actually pay £100 to get my hands on mine tomorrow! Probably more! Haha
I've never wanted a console, or anything else for that matter, this bad in my 29 years of gaming!
 
I want my PS4 now, but then I also doon't, since I'm having to recover my PSN ID through Sony's support and I don't think I could take looking at the box.
 
My AC4 is coming tomorrow, I kind of wish they were just sending it next week. It's not going to make the wait any easier, sitting there, staring at a game.

Still 1 week down 1 to go, it went pretty fast for me!

Midnight launch Thursday night next week is when I'm getting it. Most of Europe will have it hooked up before UK GAF which sucks. Please go easy on the servers guys. I need to download Killzone day one :(
 
This question is for those from the UK. Sony does a 10% student discount on their products, does that apply to all their products?
 
I remember seeing something about this but I can't find it now, so I'll ask here. Will accounts on PS4 work the exact same way as on PS3?

I have two accounts that I switch between: Stillmatic and StillmaticOZ. Stillmatic is my main (play everything on this account), but I have PS+ with StillmaticOZ.

Keeping Stillmatic as my main on PS4, am I still going to be able to play the PS+ and digital games bought with my StillmaticOZ account on my main account?

This was just on. Man, mainstream media just don't get gaming.
Firstly they claimed that Xbox One was available worldwide ("wherever you are at midnight, you can buy one"), then decided it costs £492 (???), which the 'expert' corrected to £439 (???). To be fair they conveyed the whole lack of TV/set top rewiring issue fairly well. Kinect didn't get a look in.

Although they did say that 3/4 people they spoke to in vox pops and so on said they would get a PS4 over an Xbox.
 
I've spent a little time with the PC version of AC:IV, and I'm now convinced it has to be one of the first games I buy when I get my hands on the PS4.

Completely torn between carrying on playing or waiting so I don't ruin it. It's easily my favourite AC above Brotherhood and 2.
 
I take it Shopto aren't shipping anything till the 28th, I have Skull Edition of AC4 and its not shipped yet, kinda strange as its out tomorrow
Its still proccesing with the rest of my launch stuff.

Us British people have the added advantage of years of practice at waiting in queues. We're experts at the waiting game. Experts.

One week indeed..... until I'm sat looking out the window all day for whatever courier Amazon decide to send. If it's DPD then I will be the luckiest man in all of England

My order is with Amazon and the only game deal was the bundles, but that only knocked off about a fiver from the game you chose. I guess demand is so high that retailers are not having to discount at this point... £50 per game sticks in my throat a bit, esp. for less than stella launch titles.
 
My PS4 has arrived! Just got a mail now that it has arrived at my local post office. Will pick it up after work, in about 4 hours. Thanks Elkjøp! :D
 
Any idea what time the app goes live?

Also, new here (been lurking for a week or so) and thought I'd jump in and say that I, too, am getting the gamer pack from amazon with Killzone, the camera, and an extra DS4.

I can't wait anymore. I crey.
