Dude you don't get it yes it matters IN EVERY WAY. Just because you don't know what's happening around the world, it doesn't mean it is not important. read my comments there. If anyone else wanst more explanantions, I'll try to do it, but keep in mind I don't any responsibilty for what follows.

Yes. I'm desperate to hear a price on that. I already have a Vita but I wouldn't mind trading it in to get a fresh one with that bundle, as long as the price is reasonable.

My guess is we won't hear anything till after Launch though.

It's a clever move on Sony's part. People will be so desperate to get a PS4 for Christmas that if the Vita bundle is the only one that can be found they'll be forcing Vitas into peoples homes lool.

So since we're still waiting for our launch, anything new from the NA front? Seems like the initial (minor) uproar due to the supposedly high failure rate is now confirmed an exageration as I haven't really heard anything this week?

Amazon pre-order for FIFA came this morning, expecting Battlefield the same next week.

Gonna phone around this weekend to find out about additional stock for general sale.

I believe you are suggesting these 'Made in Japan' early units could be counterfiet goods.

And yes, this is worth checking in with Sony to see.

Edit: Counterfieting is a huge fraud issue - it's hit loads of sectors and 'high value' electronics are a popular target, so this is worth just a tweet to @yosp or someone for a check.

Yeah even though i don't really need a PS4 right now this bundle makes me considering it since i'm planning to get a Vita soon anyway.
I'm very curious about the price of this bundle.

...so someone built a batch of counterfeit Playstation consoles including Dualshock 4, AC cord, HDMI cable and headset, including manuals, Playstation Plus vouchers, having the proper software/operating system installed and somehow shipped them to retailers.

And this is based on a typing error on a sticker?
 
Vita has its own great games and obviously if I got that bundle it wouldn't just be used for streaming PS4 titles.

Also CVG are saying Media Molecules Tearaway is Vita's best title in their review, def worth a purchase.

If your order from ShopTo is with DPD and you get an email saying it's been "dispatched", but the status doesn't move from "Details recieved" the morning after, contact ShopTo immediatley. Just gone through so much hell with them today about my Vita order and the poor couriers Twitter feed is full of people missing Vita's and XBone's that should have come today and it's all ShopTo's fault not giving them the package allegedly.

Just keep bugging them until you get a response. Probably never using them again.

It is indeed a long shot, but mislabelling a sticker is a giveaway for counterfieting, and you would be surprised at how accurate they can be.

If they can counterfeit drugs (including all the 'proper' labelling and packaging ) and fake aircraft electronics can make it's way into the military supply chain then this is not too far fetched.

Is it likely? probably not, but a confirmation from Sony would be nice.

Well, seeing as there are no stickers on a PS4, I would say yes. The manufacturing info is etched onto the bottom of the console, no sticker. At least on mine it is.

Thanks for the heads up! I've ordered my PS4 with them, hoping this doesn't happen to me.
 
You guys were being a bit harsh on the sticker guy. I just read his comments and he might actually have a point.

I think he was saying there might've been a mix up between Made in Japan and Product of Japan, especially when comparing the French writing, based on his Pokemon Yellow cartridge.

However since it says Made in Japan on the console itself, the matter is over.

As far as I can tell he never mentioned anything about counterfeit PS4s lol.
 
I'm pretty sure at this point the UK TV apps not in place and that's why it's a big secret.

No Netflix or Lovefilm at launch is pretty poor.
